Pretty good show, he did play some nice tracks...it kind of sucks that it was sold out very early so none of my friends could go but than again I am glad me and my girl got in.

Oh and by the way I think palladium is a bad ass venue to bring in international a-list dj's, good staff and fast drinks! Looking forward to the next event there.

Buenos nochas. <---dont know if i speel that correct, I am from europe so my english or should I say spanish is not perfect. And I am still a bit drunk. Vodka good here.

Great show, great venue, good job to Full Access to bring such a big show to Dallas

Got there at 8:30 left at 2am, already a line formed with about 40 people trying to buy tickets/will call when I got there. Another line just a few yards down was forming as people were trying to get into The Loft upstairs (the rooftop patio lounge/bar) to hang out till doors open and they let everyone in. What was unclear exactly is how everyone was going to be let into the Palladium Ballroom from those who were hanging out at The Loft and those that had formed the huge line that wrapped around the building downstairs. Initially the crowd at The Loft first tried to go down the inside stairs thinking that they would let everyone in downstairs then everyone went back upstairs and huddled near the outdoor stairs upstairs and then they let everyone go in from upstairs and scanned their tickets as they came downstairs from The Loft and entered the Ballroom through multiple door entries simultaneously along with the people in the other huge separate line of people who were waiting to get in. Once they opened the floodgates, entry into the Ballroom happened remarkably quickly. From the time they opened the doors till the time I got in the building was about 7 minutes. The fact that they had multiple scanners and multiple entry points really helped get the crowd in quickly.

When I first walked into the ballroom and saw Kean playing and walked around, I was thinking, wow, this is a pretty huge place and should easily be able to accomodate the crowd for this show. It also felt pretty cool in there at that point in time. I also noticed that no smoking is allowed inside the ballroom as indicated by the lack of ashtrays and the big sign that points to outside to smoke (although this unfortunately was not adhered to by many people and is/was impossible to enforce). The decor was nice with white canopy type sheets stretched out above and white tubular slinky type decorations. The big video screens were cool. The layout of the venue is about as good as it gets considering the different venues in Dallas. Huge dancefloor area, bar stool chairs with 3 long counters that box in the dance floor along the sides so there is some place to sit. The VIP area is elevated in the back with cushy chairs/sofas with two private bars. The main area has two big bars and two mini bar tubs for beer/water. There is even a little bar area for just food (nachos, popcorn, pizza, giant pickle). The bartenders were great looking and were working as fast as they could as the crowd started to build. I liked the fact that they stuck printed drink prices everywhere so there is no confusion about what the prices are.

The lighting and sound quality were great. When Tiesto came on at about 12:10am there was a great intro with a male voice describing the theme of the show "Elements of Life" (although I think that portion needs to be pruned...too lengthy). This whole show was more like a concert feel. This was a professional job with all the technical crew , giant mixers, graphics, lighting controls, even roadies and stage crew for Tiesto to make sure everything is set up just right for him when he steps on stage and then right there in the wings if he needs anything. Often times Tiesto fans say that going to a Tiesto show is like a spiritual musical journey and this show was no different. With the "Elements of Life" theme in place, the visuals and tracks worked great together. Time flew by. The cavernous Palladium Ballroom was packed wall to wall at this point and I was amazed at how such a huge venue became totally packed and muggy. It became warm/muggy and when you look around , many guys took off their shirts, people were fanning themselves, but still, given the number of people in there, it wasn't unbearable as it was at other big shows in the past. The crowd was totally into the music and visuals. There was an area outside the main room where you could buy Tiesto shirts (I got a black one as a souvenir).

All in all, I think given that this was new venue for electronic dance music and the first time Full Access did a show here, from my experience it went pretty smoothly. I think the venue is a great place for future big ticket EDM shows......I'm thinking the next time Paul Van Dyke...or Sasha AND Digweed come to town, this would be a good venue.

WoW! and this is even as I was sober the whole night...still Wow!

This was alot better than I originally expected. Probably the biggest thing to boast about is the venue. The Palladium beats out the Lizard Lounge big time!!! I really wish Armin was there this past spring and not at the LL. And I saw on the flyers that the Fall Meltdown will be at the Palladium this year!
The capacity was 3,000, and even as the show sold out, there was still plenty of space. Of course, front-center and through the back is packed, hot and sweaty. But if you realy wanted to dance, just move to the side or further back and you can find the space. Several bars located everywhere, and they were fast! The entry was fast, scan DL and ticket, and you are in.

There was a huge rule of no cameras. And the security guard that wanted to do random drug searches looked in my purse and saw my camera. He told me that if I'm spotted taking a picture, they would kick me out. Whatever!Everyone had cameras and everyone used them. No one was going to brave going through the huge crowd to get to us I guess. So I took tons of video!!! I'll upload in a bit.

Kean did an amazing job of warming up the crowd! Kudos to him! Once he played "Carry Me Away" - I knew I was ready to have a good time!

Tiesto was scheduled to come on at 11:30, and everyone knows it never works out like that. But he did come on a little after midnight, and that still isn't too bad. Decor was awesome for Dallas, and 3 huge projector screens, along with many many bright lights and smaller screens really lit up the set. I had seen many videos of Tiesto's shows from the past month in how his set goes. So I knew there would be this very lengthy opening. A man talking about the Elements of Life. It was nicely dramatic, but yeah....completely too long. He starts out with some nice tracks. Then he goes completely diva-ish and I wasn't feeling it. The middle part of his set wasn't that good either, but scattered in a couple of great tracks. Diary of Jane was played, and I sang my heart out. He also played several off of his lastest album, yet I didn't hear any of Jes' songs. *shrug* Towards the end, Tiesto really rocked it out. It went completely progressive and the house was jumping!! Some crazy electro shit! I loved it!!!! The lights were awesome, bright, colorful, played along with the music and enhanced the whole atmosphere. At the very end, he shoved in Adagio for Strings and Traffic - which was super nice to hear! I was towards the front at that time, and everyone was singing along the melody and jumping around. Good times!!!

Thank you to all the ravers that didn't follow the old rave stereotypes. Yes, I saw glowsticks and lights - that is completely fine, and I also saw a few beads, but it wasn't alot. But I didn't see any crazy outfits, pacifiers, masks, wings, crazy rave toys and I didn't smell any vicks. So I really appreciated that. Everyone really behaved themselves for being fucked up. So much better than the Lizard Lounge.

Bummer I was sober the whole time. Ah well, I'm broke anyway. lol But I'm sure the soberness made me highly aggitated at the crowd sometimes. Packed, hot, sweaty, - was pushed around alot, and my poor toes were stomped and jumped on. That's my only bad thing to say about my night. So over all AMAZING NIGHT!!!!

Tekmo - Was great to meet you!
Orozko - Was great seeing you again!

Uh well lets see 1 bathroom for the whole place, shitty as organization at the bars. It got a lot better once the show started.

What the hell the Palladium have to do with the Lizard Lounge, they are 2 entirely diiferent venues. I drive a long way to see shows at the lounge and have always had a good time. As far as last the Palladium it's just a big box with sound and lights, not really a big deal. Tiesto was great though!
