AUM Festival in Ar/Ozark mountains!

Did anyone go? i didnt see you there Brian and Co? i got those flyers out that were meant for you from Jesse(Southern Junction)
I drove up yest morning and only got there 5 min before my set. What a venue, beautiful and wicked earthy people. It could have been better attended but then i got there on the last day and i drove back straight after my set(after finding a cliff to jump with my mate).Still worth the drive, got home around 5 am this morning and at work now with 3 hours sleep and great memories.

I agree, it was really nice to meet everybody, everybody definitely had a great energy and there was a ton of fun to be had by all! New friends were made, old friendships were strengthened, the cliff diving was great and the music and sound were amazing...

I can't wait to do it again!!!

Hahaa we didn't see you there. WE had one of the largest camps set up in the place. We were right by the main dance floor. Had 2 gazebos and christmas lights around the entire camp. (our village).. We were out on the dance floor every morning around3am-10am or so..

The party was FANTASTIC. The venue was huge so there were alot more people then what it seemed. If you saw the dance floor Saturday night-Sunday morning you know what I mean. What a fantasic experience to be part of. I bet hey had around 500 people and that's not bad for a psytrance event in another State at a new venue. This festival has so much potential to grow. Some people took some videos and pictures that we can post up here soon.

One of my complaints is where the downtempo location was at. I don't think that here was any reason for it to be down 2 huge hills and a 15 minute walk. If it would have been closer to the dance floor I think more people would have been at it.

It was to hot to hang out at the camp during the day so we all went to the lake and went cliff jumping during the hottest time of the day. that was lots of fun. The came back to the camp when the sun wenyt down and went to sleep until about 2 am. Got back up got ready and hit the dance floor all over again..

yes, i met you. i came up to you after yr set & told you how absolutely awesome it was! yr set was the one that the electricity when out right when the music was intense, ahh, THEN the sound when back on & you just keep right on blowing it up like nothing happened!

i was so moved that i went back to our camp & got my bubble gun & did a drive by bubbing... i know that peter caught that on video.

i have never EVER been camping THIS LONG - 4 days! - & really thought i would end up coming home early but i was excited the entire time... i have to give to all the djs that played, this was serious dark & fast music..

i'd have to say that gift culture the 1st night
& vegetal (wow...just wow)
Egnorgag that next morning (ahhh, it was the sickest EVER!)
then Aaron of Init String downtempo set... really stood out.

since were so close to the stage i pretty much heard a lot of it at night, but during the day cliff jumping/swimming & the morning of cave exploring (with just a flashlight) then dressing up for the dance floor... yeah that was the most amazing parties i have ever been to - for such a long a time.

i really got to meet some great people who i will always remember & definitely hang out w/in the future as well as got to know ppl who i always see when i go out a lot better.

yeah, i even found out a lot about myself, i realized that money doesn't do very much good in the woods & flip flops don't cut it during a dark psy set... no. nope.

everyone in our van - i love all of you SO very much

time of my life.

to try and even put the 4 days into words seems retarded, words can't do justice for the experiences that were had. i would have to say that getting our week started w/gift culture, gettin' down with my girls to Ghreg on Earth's set (I have never been a part of a dancefloor that powerful!), setting up our dallas(diva) village, our masquerade ball, ,cliff jumping, and closing out our 4 days with aarons set were just a few of the many great things we got to experience.

i think the lineups and timeslots could have used some better organization, at times the music lost it's flow from dj to dj and the downtempo area was way to far off, but these are just minor things that i believe will be worked out in the coming years.

i totally look forward to growing with this festival. i love how our friendships grew and we were able to come in contact/meet some amazing people. we are truely blessed to be part of things like this.

i love you guys..
(womp womp!)

-diva out!

Darren if you were only there during the day then you missed most of the people. Everyone left and went to the lake a few miles away all day because o the heat. Most people slept when the sun went down and the dance floor would get packed around 3am untill around 10am or so. Untill it got to hot again....

Everything was great. A totally psychedelic experience. The dancefloor Sunday morning for Psylent Pulse was off the hook. Freaky freaking to the 190 bpm insanity... As far as the complaints of not enough melodic music... I will put it bluntly... Had this party been dominated by prog or full on it would have been drab, unexciting, and not nearly as psychedelic. Welcome to the new shit, either embrace it, or take your ass to the club...

Sunday morning was my favorite part of the party. Shit was INSANE! That was one of the most powerful dance floors I have ever seen. People were going bananas.

Bananas. Like pouring beer on their chest & stuff.

getting naked in the baby pool on the dance floor.

First time I have EVER been on the dance floor while there was a huge FIRE AND a pool. I loved rubbing my feet on that bag of ice.

Yea, i'll have pics posted up later really cool ones!
