Lamb of God wrecked it. Sucked I had to miss Behemoth and Devil Driver

All in all, can't complain... especially since it was free this year. Although I hate the fact that they make you sweat your ass off in the parking lot all day before you hear acts on the mainstage. I wasn't there during the day, but I still think thats wack.

But still, for free - can't bitch too much

heard mixed reviews from the crowd about them
some ppl were calling them gwar rip off
i was catching up on beers during their set lol

Yeah Lordi sucked balls. It was almost as if someone had put GWAR and Queensryche (the rock opera thing) into a blender and out came this finish shite. Devil Driver, Hatebreed, Behemoth, Static X and Lamb of God were awesome!!!!!!!!!! Bounced out towards the end of lamb of god to avoid the 1,000,000 car pile up that was inevitable. All in all the only thing i have to really complain about is my sunburn. Wait maybe one more complaint Static X didnt even play Wisconsin Death Trip WTF!!!!!

they didnt have 2 stages running at the same time as they normally do. so from 1-6 or so everyone was at the second stage. Then everyone move to the main ampitheater for the last 4 bands at 6.

I got there at around 5:30....decided to plunk down $40 to hang out in the Icehouse VIP lounge/bar area since there is A/C and fans in there, had a burger, lots of water, coke.....then walked around checked out Hatebreed , had good crowd interaction.....started melting in the heat so went back to the cool confines of the Icehouse....watched Lordi on the plasma screens in the VIP lounge ....interesting theatrics...but didn't care for the music....then went to my seats in section 101 row T pretty much front and center to listen to Static X who rocked it and then Lamb of God was super heavy/hardcore, reminded me of Pantera...then Ozzy comes on....his singing was off and he even acknowledged that and apologized to the crowd...his guitarist is awesome....left around 10:15 to beat the traffic....ears ringing....

i got there at noon, and caught the whole thing... well, pretty much. we left before ozzy. ankla rocked it. the showdown wasn't bad; they wanted to be pantera pretty baddly, though. hatebreed had the action going. lordi sucked, sucked, sucked! static-x was a bit off from last time i saw them, but i always enjoy them... lamb of fucking god fucking tore shit up! got peeps all nice and rowdy!

i don't think they played. there were quite a few lineup changes from what i saw. i don't think behemoth played either. there was a band called egypt central instead... and i know mondo generator was replaced by devil driver... who were pretty good, too, i might add....

shane saw behemoth. he missed chthonic but he visited their merch booth. apparently they had these crazy paper dolls cutouts of themselves for sale. i thought that was a kooky/interesting choice for merch to sell. heh

yeah, ankla fuckin' rocks. i got to see them with american head charge a month or two ago in fort worth. there were only like 50 people at the show. it was awesome!

hmm. i must have missed them both somehow. some of the set times were so short, they very well could have played while i was getting beer.
