Wow, what a damn show!
I'm still contemplating on what just happened last night. They ripped Dallas a new one! I don't know how we'll ever recover.
I took tons of vids. I'll spend the day uploading them and will come back to post linkys.

Awesome night... lots of great sets by local DJs and a fun experience with Infected Mushroom that I won't forget.

Great show! Super high energy by Infected Mushroom matched by the psychedelic graphics and lighting on the big video screens...these were definately cool and enhanced the show, this time more space for everyone, easy to get drinks anywhere, port-o-potties outside, nice sounds from the locals as well.

Capital J and the Mcs in the video bar had me hyped all night.there was some jazzy DnB thrown in there too which really made my night. great show!
infected was O. K. stuck around a bit to catch them play " cities of the future" and "converting vegetarians" and i was done after that. it seemed like there was something wierd about the sound setup outside, i kept moving around to try and get better sound but it just seemed like i dunno.... "fuzzy" if thats a word to describe it.

I really enjoy the night, Fabian played a really nice set and had the crowd pumped just enough for Infected mushroom, when they started everyone went wild with hands up in the air! The view up from the vip was amazing!!!

Unforgetable night!

I have to say I wasn't really feeling the power chord cock rock from Infected Mushroom.

But that doesn't really matter. Capital J's performance was as good as it gets.

had a damn blast...was against the railing in front of the stage for IM's whole set practically...it was sooo damn hot up there! will be back to dallas very soon

The guy who introduced IM at Lizard Lounge was Steve Saunders, head promoter of Wet Grooves & Carpe Noctum Events. I introduced IM @ Insomnia.

My friend & I got to the club around 11:30pm or so. She & I roamed the club briefly & then headed outside to meet up with a group of friends & other promoters. We were hanging out in the side pit area on the left side of the main stage. So, unless you were specifically looking for me or were in that general vicinity, you wouldn't have seen me.

I'll be honest, I'd never heard of Infected Mushroom prior to their last booking in Dallas & so obviously I had no idea how explosive their performance would be. The crowd was into their performance so much that people were jumping off main stage & crowd surfing. Even to this day, I've never seen this done at a EDM club. I will always remember how awesome this night was. Tonight, my friend Lauren, had all the same experiences that I did back in February. Throughout the performance she kept telling me how bad ass their music is & how the entire performance had a great intense feeling.

I want to thank everyone that played a role in making this entire event such a huge success. The staff, promoters, go-go dancers, DJs all made a phenomenal effort before, during, & after the event creating a night that will last in people's minds for a long while.

Get ready for the next FIRE event which will be a Luau & BBQ on September 22nd from 2pm to 4am!!!! With only the knowledge that Donald Glaude & Bad Boy Bill will be performing, a great deal of hype is already forming. If you think you're excited now, wait until the rest of the lineup is announced in the coming weeks.
