bassnectar ware pretty badass!

parliment was parliment.. mr clinton was pretty damn stoned and didnt do very much but the rest of the band were great!

Wu Tang .. i didnt go to their stage but i heard that method didnt even show.

Public enemy was all about "fuck george bush"

Rabbit in the Moon - missed em but my friends got some pics with them and they all got to go backstage with em and party it up.

Dj Elephant was pretty dope on the DnB side with 3 mc's

I was out there last weekend in Santa Fe. It was a little warm during the day.

Santa Fe is beautiful, not much there but its damned pretty

the event went pretty well
this was the first year they threw this event and of course there is a learning curve
they need to work on promotions to get more people out there, but on the last day Sunday I would guess there were at least 10,000 people or more out there
through out the 3 days I would think there were about 30,000 total

I didnt get to see everyone I wanted to, I saw Bassnectar, bad ass show, but I was a bit intoxicated so I stumbled to my tent about halfway through and passed out Wink

Shiny Toy Guns was bad ass, even though the drummer wouldnt make eye contact with me backstage and ran away when i tried to say hi
so I decided to yell at him a bit, said he had dildo hair (it did have a phalic protuberance) and wondered why he was scared of me
the lead singer was cool, she said hi and was a bad ass chick

George Clinton put on a hell of a show, even though I was making fun of the big black man in diapers the entire time
I was going to go back stage, but Kaos decided that would be a bad idea after I told him I was going to make fun of the guy in diapers

the rest of the event was crazy, lotsa people there, could have been more but was a blast none the less.

I ran around with waterguns, got interviewed by a local paper, and fell down I was so drunk the first day, so it was good times.

im fianlly back though, thank god i had yesterday off and got enough sleep Smile

was it at the horse racing track or outside of there?

it was in the middle of The Down in Santa Fe, the middle of the track
awesome venue, could hold 100,000 or more easily
it was also the greenest part of Santa Fe the entire trip
the grass was better than most ive seen here in Dallas lol

in fact, when we first got there, a friend asked if they had just rolled it out for the event

i have been extremely busy since i got back and have not have the time to gather my thoughts into text for you.

be patient and i will finish my thread here or someone else of the 13 dallas people that were with me will.
