For those who are too scared to go to the desert and get funky and nasty, I have a word or two about Burning Man.

It's the most amazing time you could ever have. I won't try and quantify it with pictures or long elaborate stories but if you were there, you know what I am talking about.

You obviously don't understand that no matter how hard you try you can't allow yourself to experience certain realities unless your surroundings prohibit such. There's nothing else in the world like Burning Man experience.

exactly my point.
money would not be an issue, however preparing myself (or at least attempting to) for a weeks long journey in the desert. i am looking at attending in the next 2 years.

Your about 10 years to late for that one.....the purists in San Fran abandoned burning man a long time ago. For the last 6 years or so they have had a parallel event in the desert somewhere between Santa Fe and Albuquerque NM thats invite only. Thats why if you ever drive out to Burning man when your crossing Arizona you see a lot of hippie caravans that seem to be driving the wrong way.

trust me...just go....it took three years of my friends begging me and then i kicked myself in the ass repeatedly for not going sooner...then when you get back tell every lame person that asks about your time that it was terrible
