My point, if you'll read slowly, is that comfort zones and zones of physical safety are two different things. Furthermore, there are some people who want to have a good time without worrying about pictures of themselves being posted on the web, and potentially losing jobs/friends/whatever because of it.

The key thing here is consent. I'm all for a party that has weirdness, disturbing performances, people starting small orgies, etc, as long as the people involved are all for it. It's the same reason why I think bestiality is just unfair, because the animals are too dumb to be given the opportunity to say whether or not they want to fuck a person.

Anyway... why in the world were cameras permitted? If you knew that they were permitted (assuming they were) aren't you on notice that you may get your picture taken? Now, if they are supposed to be prohibitted then they should have had security confiscate that shit. Went to this Bachelor party for an ADA... good christ... anyway... we had a guy whose sole job was the confiscation of any devices that could record the varoius felonies going on in that place.

i didn’t see anyone forced into anything….in fact all i witnessed was vast consent on the part of all participating attendees….a temporary social contract if you will….scrawled in goats blood of course….if you and your girl were forced into something uncomfortable then that sucks and you should have kicked the offender in the knee

Disturbathon is something that I have had the pleasure to experience for 11 years (minus last year, when the orig. founders were not involved). I went this year super late after i had finished with my evening's plans and enjoyed myself as usual. It seemed like it had more life in it this year than the last few years, but one thing remained the same----DON'T GO TO DISTURBATHON IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE: GRABBED, PHOTOGRAPHED (This is new, but unfortunate), SECRETED ON, VOMITED ON, SPANKED WITH DIFFERENT THINGS INCLUDING SQUID, CHASED BY PUMPKIN BALLS, VERBALLY, VISUALLY, AURALY, ORALY, AND MENTALLY ASSAULTED. I did as I always do when I come home: I walk in my home, and put my clothes straight in my washing machine-in hopes of getting the smell of sex, beer, and durian fruit off of my clothes, and of course, I expect that there are things that make me very uncomfortable, but I recognize that it is DISTURBATHON, and that is what I came for.
