| Blake Jarrell & Armin van Buuren @ Club Sky, Austin 11.3.07 (vids)
had a great time, an amazing show! That place was really really packed and it got pretty cramped and hot in there. I think Sky is a bit too small for this big of a show. This was my first time at Sky - amazing sound system! It was so crisp, clear and loud. Awesome lighted wall and some great lights as well. VIP is not a good area - so don't waste your money there. I know the less text, the better, so I'm just going to post vids instead Blake's vids Armin's vids |

But since Sky doesn't close it'd doors at 2 and the time chance happened in the middle of the night, we got almost 4 hours of Armin's set! It seemed like he would play forever - greatness! He played a lot like he did in Dallas, but he changed up the set a little bit and did a ton of great tunes I hadn't heard in a while. He played slightly harder than in Dallas. It seemed like Austin was a mix of Houston and Dallas set. Blake threw it down hard. He was thumping the bass with some great progressive stuff. He had the crowd in a frenzy. | |

yeah i think it is designed to be that way. petalpusher played on the 2nd floor though and showed that there is potential for the 2nd floor to rock! i am just not into the ambiance of the place. too much flashy lights and such. for austin edm venues it is one of the nicer ones though and the one where all the more commercialized djs come to play (mark farina, miguel migs, armin, etc.) glad u had fun! |
