Here is my brief review.... as I am short on time and didn't stay till about 1:00 a.m.

Kid Icarus and Kai were on when we walked in... it was an odd melding of Techno and some funky-diva-kinda-UK-house... not really what we were expecting. Not my style per say... but Kid Icarus was throwing down some SKILLS on the decks! I enjoyed watching him work the mixer and throw recrods in and out.

Thomas Trouble came on next... he is the "newbie" I wanted to go see.

The first half of his set was... progressive house sped up... I think... but it wasn't trance. He did tell someone that he had brought some "slower" stuff as he thought it was a 21 and up club.... so he was going to start slow and end up fast.

He did speed things up late on, which was nice. I can say that his track selection was not cheesy... it was original... and his mixing was solid.

Now, did he WOW me. Well... no. I found that his set had no "flow"... no rhyme or reason. But that's just me being picky I am sure.

Towards the end of his set people were into him... and that was cool!

We left at one... and as Pleasurehead hit the decks.... he put on "GIRLS"... we heard it blaring from the club... and we figured we had taken our leave at a good time.

Yeah Mr Trouble thought is was a 21 and up club and he thought he had an extra half hour. He did get to slam his trax for the last 20 or so and the place lit up.

I think it is chill as hell that Todd and his crew brought Thomas to Dallas. We all need to show some love!

i wasn't impressed by Thomas Trouble at all! I was soo looking forward to seeing him! When he came on i was like ewww!

Kai and Kid Ic! Awesome as always! I never get tired of seeing those two guys. I was in the front towards the end of kid Ic's set and i do have to say i don't like getting mobbed by the drunk focker that you very much! (if you are reading this!) I know you wanted some free stuff but damn its one thing to be standing in my way but be making me do a duck and cover so that i won't get hurt! RUDE!

I liked pleasurehead from what i saw of him! GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS!
Thanx Prototype for the records! You rock! Also to the guy that gave me the cd! i liked it A LOT

But i am glad funkhaven brought some new talent to dallas! thanx

What a terrible crowd. Nobody was into the music until Trouble was almost done. The whole place was pretty dead. I think it should have only been $10 but what do I know.

i had fun at Jacket last nite....its true that the crowd was dead but at the sametime i still had fun busting a move to Kia and Kid Icarus....damn they were good... and Thomas Trouble wasn't that bad...i listen to him for a bit and then got into it and danced....

there was this really funny part of the nite were me and my friends were watching this guy and girl danceing...the guy went down on the ground and starting licking her feet...damn it was kinda funny...he was all over the dance floor.....

so yea...over all i had a good time danceing and listening to some good music....


oh yea...also to everyone i saw last nite...*huggles* it was soo great to see u guyz again.... lets see if i can remember everyone....Sean(Playboy), Mark, Matt(navin), Casey(Shakes 999), and everyone else i saw last nite....uumm i think thats it....*huggles* it really was great hanging out with u guyz u made my nite very enjoyable....

the party over all wasnt that great. definitely not worth 8 dollar parking and 15 cover. good thing i didnt park in the red jacket parking lot. um glitters...u said u never get tired of watching kai? u when do u watch kai?
Anyway-kid icarus was throwin down..but the tag set kinda threw it off... i wasnt really feelin it. there was maybe once where the type of music sounded like it should be together. I would rather watch Kid Icarus/solo and Kai/solo

Thomas Trouble- *yawns* i guess its trendy to start with that record now or something...you all have heard it...DO YOU LIKE PUSSY? damn song

The ruby room- i will just stay quiet about that ..zzZZzz

Pleasurehead- sounded great. got me moving from the first record...but theres always work in the morning so we had to miss him.

ummmm.....Phantasy....i've seen him plenty of times. thanx! I wouldn't have made the comment if i didn't mean it! I like Kai! I've seen him more than once. Right i like them solo better but it was kool to see the them do a tag set! something new~!

i see...just wondering thats all..cuz i never heard u say anything about him..so i just didnt know u were into him. thas all

By the way.....did anyone hear that track that Kid Icarus played that was on a cd? With the girl singing??? I thought that was phat. It sounded beautiful. Does anyone know what its called???

Just wanted to check to see if anybody caught my set, I know it was early but i guess i just looking for some consrtuctive criticism.
Some of you guys were not that impressed but you got to give us credit for trying to give Dallas some new talent.

I saw your set...u did well. I like to dance, i would have liked to hear some of the records u played a lil faster...but skill wise *claps hands* some stuff was a lil shaky, but most if it was great. Im sure if there would have been more people there to hear u at that time, they would have enjoyed it.
