Sting Lounge- David Austin Edition 11/30/2007

Man you had a nice room going on there tonight.

ended up at sting last night...the place has definitely got lots of potential. while the $10 cover wasnt the greatest thing the free pool tables in the sports bar area made up for that. after playing pool for a while we checked out the back lounge.

the lounge is a tight area with nice couches and a pretty nice set up for bottle service. the room was really going down last night. fresh tunes and the whole night was made even better by the free ciroc that was getting handed out left and right.

only downside was when the head of security/gm manager took over the decks around midnight and took us into a timewarp with house tracks that were rocking clubs back in '93

were you one of the two guys sitting on against the wall??

joe castillo basically built that entire system and he has still yet to play on it. he asked if he could get a few tracks in with a crowd.

downside of the night. circuit breaker trips downed the entire booth for a few minutes on three occasions. i think the band in the restaurant was pulling a lot more power than they had anticipated.

it was definitely a different vibe. im not really used to playing in a spot where its ok if people leave to go to another part of the building. i overplayed it a bit lol.

ya i was one of those guys...in actuality the other guy didnt do all that bad and the sound system in there is sick. so mad ups to him for getting that set up going.

David, you need to tell the owner to increase that circuit size if that's the problem. It will be reoccurring if he has a band in there again.

I went there tonight and I dropped way more than I did on friday. I didn't even pee on the floor.

The problem with the tripping breaker was that the circuit for the boothj was on the same for the fire alarm. The fire alarm shorted and tripped the breaker.

All is well now.
