I had a blast last night. Great music Jayson...and yes I even rave Stomped with my girl Sharper! Kitty you sexy little bitch. Matpec nice meeting you as well!

until about 2:12 when the shit went south....damn it....

Had a freakin' blast!!!
Jayson did an awesome birthday set! Had the floor packed full of peeps dancing their asses off.

yeah, it really had that underground theme going on after 2. lol But the party was moved and the rave continued! Woot!

Mike also was kicking ass on his set once the party was moved. He was throwing down some hard dirty stuff. It was so rave, there was a mass "everyone cuddle on the floor" area.

OMG - Got to party with kitty and pickle!!! teehee!

that sucked that the Dallas Police headlined, but yeah, a WHOLE lot of fun.

I just ended up going home after the 2 am ... and was really disappointed since I was looking forward to hearing Mike play...

but, i got only one pic b/c I was too busy dancing. lol! fucking love techno!!

super blast dancing around with sharper & pickle, littlz, delfonic... well EVERYONE. yay!

it was cool that it was held at a gallery but i'm looking up going, "ANGELS!"

yeah, the police did a shitty job of headlining. I guess you could say they cleared the dance floor. :cheese:

I had a blast while it lasted. We tried to make it to the new spot but we got a little lost and everything seemed to go downhill from there. I'm really upset I didn't get to hear Mike throw down. Jayson put me in a mood to dance into the early hours of the morning.

It was fun, we left before the cops graced the party with there presence. It was a pretty cool spot. I wish I had caught Mike's set as well. Pickle-sharper-others- after teh smoke I had to bounce b/c I was entirely to raved out. Sorry I didn't say bye to my homies before my escape! Hope no one went to jail!

LN Statement: 1/19/08

We, London Nights, have no affiliation with the 2647 Gallery or it's shared corporate ventures other than a temporary agreement for the usage of their space beginning on 1/18/08 and ending on 1/19/08.{edited for content}

We're still sorting through this, but here is a mild explanation for why things happened the way they did last night.

The art gallery where the event was being held didn't have the proper permits. The police action was a result of a TABC infraction and not because of the London Nights event and it's guests. We spoke with law enforcement agents before leaving and were told that the event, being held in a private space, was within our legal rights as entertainers and artists.{updated: 1/20/08}

It has always been are intention to hold events in a non threatening and legal environment. In no way, would we want our guests to be harassed by law enforcement or other guests. We are all extremely disappointed in the turn of events and will do everything possible to ensure that this doesn't happen at future London Nights shows.

Having said all of this and on a more positive note, I would like to personally thank Jayson Gold for coming out and giving a great performance. Well done..indeed. I would also like to thank everyone that attended. The vibe in the room is just how we envision the London Nights events to be. Great people, great music, great vibe and no social BS. The energy in the room was amazing. It was very disheartening seeing the lights come on and happiness turn to shock. Despite the unplanned headlining performance of Dallas finest, the night was very successful.

For those that came back to my loft to continue the show, thank you. It is and always will be a pleasure to perform for you. I could've done with a bit less smoking (going to be airing this one out for days) . For those of you that didn't get to hear me play and/or arrived at the location only to find it shut down, I sincerely wish the night would have went differently. I was just as excited to perform as you were to hear me.

After we sort thru the dust on this one, we're going to start putting together the details for next months event. I hope that what transpired last night will not deter you from attending our shows as we believe that we are creating something different in Dallas. Something that we are deeply passionate about and will not be a success without you.

I agree, the atmosphere was awesome! I had a blast, and it was well worth all the craziness that happened. I'll still go to the future LN shows, no doubt!

nah, i don't think anyone went to jail, just a bunch of tickets were handed out to anyone holding a drink or empty cups - as far as i know.
