 | LAX and DEEP
So i rolled up to LAX with Jabwai last nite and ole AM was on the decks doing his thing, I missed Haul and Mason and Eli Escobar, which kinda sucked. I think AM is doing kinda what he did for pop, but heavier on the EDM vibe. NOT as cool as last time, Paris Hilton showed up last week, and i'm sure thats why kinda sucked as far as the crowd went. BUT, there is Deep at the Vanguard. Now first of all, I'm not really a soulful house type, but srsly, this place is off chain and has to have the best dancefloor and sound+lighting of any place that i would want to go. As in, yeah some clubs in vegas have great sound and lights, but i DO NOT wanna go. Timmy Regisford(sp?) was playing, and i just remember dancing around, thinking,' i don't even like soulful house, and why am i dancing?'. It was more packed than the other couple times I went. If you like soulful house and dancing this is your Mecca, for real. |
