Quarantine Rave

So I guess everyone went into the attic and dusted off their monkey backpacks, crazy rave lights, big fuzzy hats and boots, gas masks and pacifiers for this crazy night.

I checked out a little of every place and bounced around a bit. Rave stomped a little. And Jayson played my request, plus some more of my favs - Yay!

We went to Teksuprt for a lil bit and then came back to Quarantine to find it had multiplied 10 times crazier.

I have a little paranoia fear of old school ravers sometimes, especially when I'm sober. So I hung on to Jayson like a little kid - I was skurred. lol And it was my first time to even check out the warehouse, and I asked Jayson what was upstairs that everyone was hanging out of. He shook his head NO. lol But curiousity got to me, so I talked him into taking me up there to the biggest massive cuddle puddle I had ever seen. I was stepping over people on the floor hoping not to fall and get caught in the abyss. I knew I was going to survive when we got back downstairs. lol
Ah, good times.
Still some great ass music, and some amazing visuals - LASERS!!!

The music was blasting loud.....literally!
These lights didn't even blink, they were solid red. lol

And if you didn't go, you missed out on some serious Rave Business!!! Amazing turnout! All that was missing, was Kitty.

yeah, i gave phil rave diplomacy & he took thailand's rave diplomate & they went in my place. he told me about it come 5 am when he came over. i had to get up to come to work today at 8 am.

Yup, it was a rave!!
Steve Armstrong and Stephen Moon did a great job putting this show together, I had a great time playing.
Just a few of the highlights:
Decor in each room, the entire club was visually transformed to fit the bio-hazard/quarantined theme
The visuals and frickin' lasers in the main stage area
The bio-hazard suits they provided for the staff/DJ's, really tied together the theme
The chill out down tempo area with the hookahs
Live PA's on each stage

And of course the crowd that came out to rave it up, lots of people having a great time, saw lots of friends, was pretty much packed till the music stopped.
Lastly, just wanted to give a shout to Mike Rice for being so understanding while we ran a set of decks from one stage to another so he could play, thanks for being patient while we worked it out.

I would smack a dj for pullin that shit on my mixer or sound system... Regardless sounds like I missed a good ol, full on, rave party. Big ups to everyone involved (save for the DJ that blows the mixer/sound system).

No worries, we've got them limited at the drive rack...since we've had quite a few newbies get their first experience at our club, we learned that lesson quick, lol.
But ya, still amazes me how many "pros" don't know how to watch their levels.

Bad ass party!! Could tell a lot of effort was put into this party. Sound systems sounded pretty dope. The live P.A.'s where also fun to watch as well. The decor along with lights where pretty sick as well. Loved the two visual screens in the warehouse too. I really like the chill out room even tho I didnt really spend to much time in there. But the left room seemed to complement that theme very nice.

Really enjoyed FunkLab's set, along with mxmind's, david ringel's, and simon's. Def had the crowd hyped. Thank you for this party FULLY FUCTIONAl. Hope theres many more to come

Thanks for posting the video Sharper And thank you to everyone who came out to support! I was glad to see so many people I haven't seen in so long. It was cool to see everyone respond so well to the environment, I'm glad to see our efforts were enjoyed... And the talent! DAMN! Solid sets all around the club, from what I heard. I was stuck at the door for a while, but broke away to catch as much as I could. Highwire was awesome! Twisted dark techno, and the place was loving it. Jiant, Mike Rice, and Dave Van Hook really impressed me. Funk Lab was bangin' the whole way through, and ALP set the mood just right at the end of the night. Dirty South, Caleb, and Kevin... It seems your visuals, lasers, and lights were a big hit We will have some video posted soon, as we had two Cannon cameras filming the night. I Know I'm leaving some people and details out, but I'm tired! Thank you so much for such a great night. We look forward to seeing you all again soon...

great party, great turn out and awesome sets by all the artist. got there early so i got to hear jayson and simon and they were banging some bad ass beats. it was fun to see my friends and all those new faces. This production was top notch and was proud to be part of it. great job by everyone involved and a special thanks to the AL security staff for making everyone's stay pleasent...

Wow! what a great event. The decor & and the people made this party a memorable one. Steve and Steven obviously put their heart & soul into this and showed. Once again, Thanks for having me out. I am already looking forward to the next one.

WOW- literally the best time I've ever had at AL. Both Highwire & Funk Lab were amazing (I missed ALP). The sound was better than I've ever heard it, the lasers were great, and the decor A+. It managed to maintain a pretty cool vibe even tho the place was PACKED, at one point the cars were backed up both sides of the road trying to get in (the very talented AL staff cleared it up pronto)

Some of the kids really went all out on their costumes- from nurses to custom t-shirts, biohazard suits to crazy doctors, it was great to see everyone really get into the theme.

Three of my friends who aren't into electronic music came out and stayed until 3am they were having such a blast- that says something great about the show!

I know Steve & Stephen really put everything they had into this show, thank you guys for a truly amazing and memorable night. It's a beautiful breath of fresh air that your passion is bringing into the Dallas scene.

You guys really went all out on making this one special for everyone involved. My chem suit survived "most" of the night until I started getting down back at the absinthe lounge.
