A wondrous mix of House and Breaks for your face that your ears could appreciate. 4Peace even played a track that I didn't expect to hear (the track with the "Chicago, Chicago, say wha?" chant) and a nice fade to the next cat in the lineup.

Glad Frank and him got to kick it in the same club again. For the first time in a while, the glorious return of DJ Love, the breakbeat DJ, was in the house. I wish I could hear more Breaks from the man locally, but last night was a nice filler for a while.

Not a bad turnout, got to talk shop with a couple of locals, see Kelle do the Brooklyn bounce ( ), and catch up with a really good female friend of mine that I rarely see in public. Had to take her keys away at the end of the night to make sure she got home okay, but she'll thank me later.

Got to keep my friends alive as I can.

It's been a while...i'd really like to see 4Peace play out again.

Yes, for the 4th week in a row the crowd continues to swell! I think we came close to breaking the triple digit head count for the night! w00t!

I think what people are enjoying is the fact that the music is so unpredictable from week to week, from DJ to DJ. While house is the foundation, we aren't limiting it to just that. The one common thread is that the music is fun and we focus on putting the "dance" in dance music. Like most other DJ's and residencies, we don't take our night or the music overly serious. As most of you have noticed, we like cutting up and having fun with this thing and I think people can really tell we enjoy spinning together and thus, it comes through in the music.

Anyway, a big thanks to everyone who came out and kept the dancefloor pumpin' all night! Frank tore that shit up and it was so fresh getting to hear good breaks again. I forgot how much I liked them and how good a DJ he is.

See everyone next Wednesday and don't forget about Jay West coming up on the 19th!!!
