I was wanting to go up there for James. That's what I was going to go see. When you go to shows that have more than one dj, sometimes you are going there to see one of them that you have in mind. So that's who I wanted to hear about. And even though James was the headliner, I haven't heard one review of him yet.

i know who james is (Ive been around for quite some time), i partied with him in chicago when i was djing up there, that's where i met him.

i would put james curd as the title and maybe some sort of afilation w/ greenskeepers (after his name on the back), but i wouldn't say "greenkeepers at xxx on date of xxx". unless i had the whole band.

regardless, i went to see Christian and was not the least bit surprised to hear him rock it and then hear mr. curd play the same old tracks (green velvet, dajae, and the like).

that's not to say i didn't like said tracks, i just think that if you're one of the front-running house DJs, you owe it to the heads to play some new shit AS WELL.

guess i'm just tired of "greatest hits" sets and would prefer "latest AND greatest."

additionally: i left at 1:00, so whatever happened after that is fair game.
