Got there at the tail end of Combichrist, that shit was blaring but I wish I could have seen their entire set cuz I probably would have dug it.

BDay Mass was okay. I love their music but something was off with the sound and I couldn't find anywhere to stand where it sounded good. I saw them in Houston about 2 years ago and they sounded incredible. So I'm not sure what was up. It was cool that home girl was out on the side signing autographs and meeting fans. Could she be any cuter?

Mindless was freaking amazing. When they took the stage it was like lightning struck that place... sooo much energy. Their music has so many different elements to it, I just love it. The last time I saw them, they opened for System of a Down and they got booed off the stage. I don't think the System crowd understood them at all. But this time, it was their own tour and they stole the show and my $25 cuz I bought a shirt.

I love the way they ended the show - Jimmy crowd surfed to the very back and sang one final song on some guys shoulders. He signed autograph after autograph at the end too. We suck around for a while and there was still a huge crowd around him when we left.

Thats how you make fans right there.

My friend brought his 8 year old daughter (she loves Bday Mass and MSI). She was stoked cuz she got to meet the lead singer of BDay Mass and Jimmy Urine signed her shoe. It was cute

All in all a good night

Goddamn, I wish they would have come through Austin. I missed Combichrist the last time they were here with KMFDM (who TOTALLY sucked, btw). MSI's someone else I'd love to see.

Andy called us and said they were going on at 7:15 so we got there early. the crowd was already huge and I saw alot of my friends and ChURcH regulars. It was fun running into everyone out there, Palladium was amazing, and the stage was huge!

The lineup for Combichrist was Andy on vocals, Joe (ex-Genitorturers) on drums, and Nemar (sp?) from the band Helltrash on synths. It was a short but wild set. I think "Red" and "Get Your Body Beat" were the most intense I had ever seen them. Of couse the show at The ChUrcH (Lizard Lounge) was more insane, but this was a great night.

The pit was steady and I think we crushed a few munchkins in the front rows. I got kicked in the face by a crowd surfer, and at one point I lifted my feet off the ground and was held up by the crowd all around. It was a blast.

I ended up hanging out with Andy after the show for the rest of the night. I interviewed him for my blog and then we just kicked back with some of our friends and watched MSI.

Shout outs to Mrs. Virus, Scary Mary, Heather, Rik, Lisa, MC Laser Mike, Ben & Kaati, and everyone else who I saw at the show!
