Props to Jello and the MST peeps for having me out, and for the work everybody did in making that stage happen; they worked through no small amount of technical and relocation difficulties throughout the weekend, and everything still went off great. Doctor J....your opening set was sick! It opened the week-end right. What was it...3 hours (?) of solid psychedelic dub...it set the whole week-end into motion. Also dug your dubstep set. Dragonman also blew my fragile eggshell mind. 11am Saturday morning and I was quite in another state of mind. His set had my jaw dropped the entire time. 4Peace and JCaprice played an amazing set of Jack House on Friday night. It was 2 hours of fucked up brilliance. Had me moving the entire time. Very dirty. UChin tore it up late night over on the Nocturning Stage. He played quite a solid set that went nicely with the New Moon starless sky. And that was just Friday night!

good times. after a daring and, well, i will say sleep deprived drive home, i proceeded to drink a 12 pack of beer and then pass out for 14 hours. got out there saturday night and the music was awesome all night long, people were great, met alot of new people. it was definitely worth the drive out there. lets do it again soon!

Saturday was fucking off the hook. Composing my thoughts now as I sit after a 9 hour drive home and 8 hours of solid death sleep, Saturday was where it was at! So much good music, so much debauchery, so many different situations, so many kick ass people, so much good tequila, so much amazing everything. My two sets that night were the BEST and most fun sets that I have played in 12 long years of being a DJ. Right up there with the Ridglea Theatre raves of the 90's for me.

Yes yes.. A good time indeed. We got there Friday night, found a campsite, and got setup just in time to have an hour or so downtime before James went on at Morningside. Due to cancellations, there were 5 hours to cover between the both of us. I let him go for about 2 hours by himself, and then started to tag in with him. I played 2 tracks, he got up to play 2 more, then by the time I was done with my next 2 tracks I found him CRASHED the fuck out in a camping chair behind the booth. Poor tired guy had worked overtime that afternoon, and was ready to just stay asleep. So, I went ahead and kept up with the harder psy stuff until there was light in the sky, and gently switched gears over to what I had planned for sunrise. Kept it up for about 2 hours total... until the sun was truly in the sky, and I let someone else take over. I had a LOT of fun with that set. I slept for a while afterwards until it was time to do some IDM at JP's stage. That was another fun set Hung out, cooked some dinner, went back to bed, and woke up in time for James to do another set on JP's stage..... Then we were both done DJing.. Had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone! I really, REALLY enjoyed Patchen and Grey's set!!! BANG UP JOB, boys!!!! Definitely the better campout of the summer. The weather was awesome. Our campsight was secluded and beautiful. We're a bit worn out on the campouts now, though. 3 of them in 5 weeks. The camping gear is officially in storage now Today and one more day of vacation for me. I'm considering going back to bed now. LoL!
