Had a guest list spot and ended up caught in midnight madness and sushi elsewhere. Didn't mean to miss the WHOLE event, just some. Glad it went off like it should.

P.S. Were there a lot of biterhaters, Joel?

got there to catch some green velvet which was good but all the rodeo clown circus nonsense sent me upstairs to vip to hang with luca/drop the lime till he went on. great hanging with family there as well.

and if you went to meltdown and didn't see drop the lime you sorely missed out. he fucking destroyed it. like thor's hammer. and he hopefully educated a few of those idiots in attendance as well. perhaps.

drop the lime did do quite well.
played some of my favorite tracks right now,
and his singing was very impressive. officially best "live dj-vocalist" i've seen yet.
on the other hand, went to see gilbert and scottie and i thought they were doing even better than DTL. props guys.

Yeah they were. Somebody needs to teach them kids about PLUR

I didn't let it bother me though. Green Velvet had me in full on rave mode. I too danced the entire 1:15 of his set. When a train of them little punks came pushing their way through, I just started doing my patented bow-throwing dance move.

I got there at 11 do see Ruthie bringin the sickness. From nu-rave, dance punk to B-more; Ms. Ruthless brought it proper. It was a good warm up for the workout that was GV.

I spent the next 30 mins or so walking around and bullshitin. It was good to see some heads out and about among the clueless masses. After a few beers Joel and I settled into our spot, front and center for GV. Jayson, Sharper, Kitty and a few others were all around raving their proverbial nuts off. Good Times. Good Times.

I enjoyed parts of Drop the Lime, but he definitely didn't hold my interest.

Red Eye and Gilbert definitely dropped knowledge in that Video Sauna.
