now that i've sobered up a bit i can remember the names of the bands opening band was Telegraph Canyon, they self-released their first record and they put on a great show. Sarah Jaffe was next and she is always good, picked up her new EP. Headlining was a band from Austin called Brothers & Sisters which was kind of this Allman Brothers type band.. they reminded me of the Magic Numbers actually. They were good and they are starting a tour now. All of the bands you would love if you like stuff like Neil Young because they all just made good folky rock songs, sometimes a lil bit country and sometimes a lil bit rock n roll ya know. the guy dj'ing upstairs, Roos you may know him... he's been around forever. He used to work at Pagan Rhythms back in the old days. He also used to do this video dj'ing thing over at Fallout Lounge (or some place over there in Fair Park) and he's doing it upstairs at Cavern now. He has the best taste in music... he was playing everything from Happy Mondays to Roison Murphy and when he dropped that Chromeo video I started cracking up. here are some links: http://www.myspace.com/telegraphcanyon http://www.myspace.com/brothersandsistersmusic http://www.myspace.com/sjaffe
