 | Lunar Tunes @... THE BACK OF ZUBAR?!?!?!?!
didnt catch wind of this change until very recently... havent been out in a while, but im glad i did last night... the trio of JV, Spettro & some guy named Brett Johnson (welcome back, man!) set the place on fire, esp Brett who put on a clinic!! Despite being hot as all fuck & packed for the whole night i still couldnt help but dance to the choonage being layed down, i had a great time, one to remember for sure... like i said before, im glad i showed up for this... there was ALOT of ppl out there last night that i havent seen in months/years like Benny fuckin Fingers!! DAMN glad to see you, mang!!! Juandingo, Soulero, Kelle, Matias, Brandi & Jeremy, Brandy & Josh, Rufus & his washrag, Fernie.. damn this list could go on... but yeah, great times, thnx JV & those involved for a great night... ~ timmers

Best Lunar Tunes Yet!!!! Think it was cause Eric was gone............J/k No but last night was sooooooo freakin amazing. JV was laying it down really nice when we got there..Then Spettro came on and brought some serious heaters. When Brett came on, i totally thought he would keep the techy vibe going but he threw a total change up and went off into some just all out around feel good house music...Loved it when he brought the tempo down for a few minutes and gave everyone a chance to slow down and catch our breath. Hell it was so jam packed and hot in there that we needed that. Very nice sets by all last night. It was good to see all the familiars out last night. |

ONE WORD..... DAMN. NUFF SAID. In all the years i have gone to the zubar last night had to be the BEST experience I have EVER had in that joint. The tunes were on point. JV - smoking hot, Spettro goodness, and brett... what to say about that?? DAMN. So glad to have the brett back here with us again. This boy restored my faith in this thing called house.... This jaded cynic was dancing around like a candy raver. LOVE LOVE LOVE...

yea last night was crazy. I got there later than I wanted but still caught plenty of that brett johnson heat. motherfucker. I'm sayin that dude is not a dj, he is a sushi chef. so much precision and delicacy - not to mention an abundance of perfectly balanced sounds in every sort of variety for real dawg  as others have mentioned, it was fucking bonkers back there. I was waiting to see clark kent fall off the cabinet lol ... luckily, he never did much love to jv for putting this lil gem together last night!

Fuck yeah! Kick ass time! Lee was presently surprised by his all time FAV DJ - DJ Love playing, on all night for us to be out (rare occasion). HA! Pretty sweet. Couldnt have been more planned out, perfectly. It was hard for me to not find my way to the back of the club, as I kept hearing my home sweet home music....ha! but definately enjoyed myself up front with the breaks, etc.  Was so good to be out again. Def gearing up for next weekend. I fucking love you Jeremy & Brandy!!! It was such a highlight to hang out with yall. FOR REAL!!! Thank you for showing up early too, as we had to split shortly after midnight. Duty calls. ha! Look forward to the pics. And yes, I will deny all naught behavior, til the cows come home. 2 rumplemints with redbulls, and 2 corona's later  , Momma had to shake what her Momma gave her.....Good to talk with you Miss Kelle Marie. Nice to met cha, Miss Paige.  Brian, man, I miss you dude. Was nice tearing up the dancefloor with you, my friend. I love watching you & Lee act like complete retards together. HAHAHA Shit is too much fun to watch. Dingo, nice to see all 30 seconds of you. To be continued, on the boat.

i felt like i went swimming while dancing in that heat, amongst hot ass tunes, and family peeps, and oh my.... I love Brett Johnson!!! Really.....we could have not asked for more.
