looks like everyones a sleep or still partying. this is by far the best time i have had in texas so far. I met some wonderful people, had a blast and best set I've seen in dallas so far by brett johnson. Thats exactly what I needed to see since being here... Damn, Brett fuckin tore it up!!! Jello did good too!! I was watching his ass having some fun up there. The location was tight, SUPER TIGHT minus the mesquito bites all over me... Dope vibe, cops got sent away by the owners of the property like gangsta's! Got pretty tired by 5am and we wnet home then, that nice shower made it real easy to go to sleep. If I met you there, pimpin!

Highlight of the night though is Brett rippin shit, complete pro!!! A total 100% A+ night, if you missed this shit then I can guarantee you no matter what you did could not compare to this night. Jello, again you pulled off in incredible show, bringing a list people together and enjoying music in a dope location. I feel proud to say I live in Dallas after this night! Can't wait for the next...

this is the first time ive heard brett play and i was plesently pleased with it. Great mixture along with the fire twirlers.

FRIDAY NIGHT:
Ok here we go 10 pm till 3:30, friday night i got there when lil brent(evolution) was about half way done with his set. Fresh out of work and trying to gather my bearings to play next i was in and out of the dj area a lot, and what i heard i really dug , but this is no surprise

Next up was yours truely , with fresh pierced and stretched ears so i couldnt use dj headphones instead i was rocking some sony ear buds that worked well but the moniter was so loud my ears rang for the rest of the night.
I thought my set could of been better on a few accounts , but i had a dance floor and everyone i talked to seemed to love it so i was content

Opie(Mark Vessal,Glitchplay) Played next ... that bastard opened up with a damn sample from national lampoons and i was pretty much stuck in every word. This cat it a true bad ass , whet many of you dont know is a few of those tracks he played he produced , and not with ableton or reason , with a fucking playstation and mtv music generator , man has talent indeed.

Next was jello , I swear i dont think he played anything that came out after 95 , real old trance , and the people were loving every minute of it . The cars were pouring in and camps were being set up and i overheard a group say , o hell yea we came to the right place

APOPHENIA (nick) was next ... i think this is the hardest i danced all night on friday , this man plays some sick full on psytrance, call it what you want but i call it awesome , in the midst of everything i was being called away to help with some camping situations , but rest asure i was always in earshot of the dj booth to hear him throw down

Dj nobody was next , a man who is no stranger to the dj realm nor the psytrance scene... Some would even call him the godfather (sorry james , i had too lol) I didnt get to catch a whole lot of his set though because i was trying to leave to get to work on saturday, but i always started with saying good bye and winding up in some in depth discussions.

Saturday i get there at 6 snd we had a change in dj's so iend up getting there and going directly to the decks to play some psy dub.
jordo went on after me playing some very interesting music , i hearrd everything from flok music to dubstep in the same set.

I appologize if im leaving some people out but i didnt catch about 2 to 3 hours worth od sets since i was dircting traffic, helping people find places to camp , moving peoples cars , etc.

I heard doey go on anf play a few tracks but then i was off again to handle more bussiness. Ran into jeremy , Brandi aka Pickles Brewster , james warren and jessica(j2sweet). Conversated and ran around talking to folks , and stood in awe of darren afrikka , as he offers me a margarita and i said "dont you want to save that for later tonight" in which his response was ehh ill make more ... HE HAD A DAMN MAGARITA MACHINE IN HIS CAR lol , now that is a dedicated partier!

I got back to the campsite at midnight when j-sun went one , was loving every minute of it , till dawn comes up and is like you some one parked behind us and they need to move so we can leave, and im the one who told them where to park. So Its midnight and in a feild and im trying to find 4 people i have seen once in my life. However thanks of the help of my good buddy Nickos i found them and crisis was adverted.

I got back about 1:30 ish i believe , caught a few minutes of monarchs set , danced for a few tracks , and then it was back off to cooridinate traffic as the cars were coming in at a faster rate.
Get everyone situated, last car pulls in and ask where the dj booth was , it was brett , pointed him toward jeremy , chris rodrieguez and the rest of the crew ... this might of been before jeremy went on actually.

Josh kynd was next rocking some housey goodness. caught a fair share of his set and did my best to come back for more but i was pretty beat at this point so i went and layed down with my new friend jen in her truck.

Jello played next again , and let me tell you folks , this man rocked it half asleep and stumbling, because call him a dirt raver or whateve but anything he does to set up he does full fucking force, he busted his ass all week to make sure this party went off without a hitch with the help of a few others of course

ALBERT MARTINEZ TO THE STAGE ... Not sure what happened here , but after the 2nd time it was said , james warren was by the decks like a kid in line waiting to play with a new toy. I told jello let him play , he grabbed his stuff and tore the floor up with me and littlz watching it all go down , he was so happy ... your welcome bro , and nice meeting you

next up john walker , starts playing some housy stuff and all the sudden the gerne completly shifts ... jp looks at me and says , is that fucking dubstep? Indeed it was , john walker played one of the sickest dubstep sets ive heard in a minute , much love brother

After him was a tag colab of jordo and j.p. with what i can only justify as hippie goodness complete with songs about saving the planet

They tell me they are done and we are an hour early , its 8 am and people are still kickin it so brent grabs me and says ,"dude plase play some psy" so i do and low and behold the dance floor was filled and the rave stop began , about 4 tracks into it brent says hey i want nick to tag team with you ... no problem here buddy the kids a bad ass
So here comes nick and we commence to ripping a hole in the dance floor that could only be filled by the vortex of the ambient that brent played

i dissapeard for a few hours after getting done with a 2 hour set , went and set down and kitty tells me that there were quite a few people mad i didnt do a punk rock alarm clock ... REALLY?! everytime i do one i get yelled at because its to early , but you gotta give the peole what they want , so back on the decks i go for the 4th time in2 days , half awake and half in reality , (hearing voices that werent there the whole time lol whole nother story) start digging though my book when i figured out that all my punk is in another boom so i did with what i had for about 30 mins and switched it to motley crew , some poision then switched to a dubstep mix from wascal ... i was done ... a great party , thank you to everyone who made it possible including the people who brought all the positive energy and left it on the dance floor

and to the anonymous pretty lady who gave 40 bucks and thanked me for making her morning amazing after playing my set , i am truely honored and thank you for everything.

The best venue, perfect in between those trees,ever I want to thank jello for letting me play a 2 hour set friday, gave me a chance t test out some of my new techy productions.Got a chance to hear many fine djs on sat and just party, i loved it.The drive was a scary one home thank god it was only like 10/15 minutes.
Till the Kiss party coming up we will all meet again

I agree with Brandy im also sick of the club scene and prefer the outdoors, maybe its the Afrika in me..

hands down the most fun i've had @ an outdoor edm event since hazy daze and 32 degrees did the earth parties. i MAJOR MAJOR thanx 2 the MST crew 4 all the hard work and effort they put into this, it mos def showed!! also a big thanx 2 the owner 4 letting us have this event on their beautiful spot much luv and respect!!
