the guy that got hit was DJ Silver Smith , that guy will never get booked with the attitude he had!!! He showed up all kinds of twisted before his set and as soon as he was done my homeboy came up to me and said that he was saying how the venue was dead ( I mean it was only 9:00 and we start at 8 pm , it got better towards the middle of the night) and that he was going to try and take the venue from us LOL !!! Then get this he wanted to bring his own mixer which we had our own and he had to play on his or he was not happy Not even into 30 min of my set he wanted his mixer back which i thought was kinda of not cool . So i told him to grab his mixer and just leave during all this time he was starting noise with everyone trying to fight someone and he picked a fight with the wrong guy and got dealt with... So as far as im concerned his idea was all wrong, came in there all big headed and look what it cost him ! He must not relize that trying to do a weekly on sundays is a little bit harder to do and instead of thanking us for even hooking him up with a gig all he wanted to do was complain all night like a 2 year old , there is always someone else who would have liked to play and would have been happy! My partner and I are doing the best we can to try and make this venue work and because of his actions we almost lost the venue. So watch out for this guy in any venues in Dallas no telling what he might try and do he might try to beat everyone up LOL!!!

But i would like to add thanks to all that has been coming out and supporting and djjing , yall are the ones that make weekly's go strong couldn't do this without yall ! Thanks again

hey I was there i was the guy with silversmith literally having to drag him out the club. I want to be the first to say I was the only sober person there. I did not have one drink and I heard everything that was said to the little guy (name) outside. He did say that the club was dead but never said anything about trying to take a club. There was 1 person inside the club and she seemed like a homeless person, she did not even buy a drink.

What silver smith told the little guy was they needed to buy flyers and silversmith even offered to get him 1000 flyers for $30 if his boss would let him to help out. He was offering to help promote and even said he was not worried about money. The little guy said the club owner should pay for flyers and silversmith insisted that its the promoters responsibility to pay for the flyers especially if there is no pull in the first week or so. If the promoter already has a decent following than yes, the owner sometimes pays. But for $30-$60 its well worth it to invest to ensure the owner will let you keep the club.

Now for the second part the fight. No one got knocked out. A few blows were thrown and silversmith took his shirt off and said lets go outside and settle this, no one came to his challenge. I had to literally pull his drunk ass out of there. And serious not to sound mean to you guys, it was a good thing. He never even had a fair chance to fight. When he said let's go outside why didnt you? The bartender even said take it outside and the other guy didnt. If your going to talk all this shit why did you not fight him when he took his shirt off?

I am not on here to talk shit, I heard from a respected friend on here that shit was being talked and I thought I would put in my two cents and sign up. I'm new to the scene and am also a new friend to silversmith but I know whats right and spreading lies saying he got dealt with and said he would steal the club is a bunch of bull shit. The main dj there got lied to and believed the little guy. I am not sure why he would say something like that to start shit but even when he asked to get his mixer these were his words "hey man its kind of dead in here you think there is any way you can swap out my mixer since only 1 person is here but if not its cool and I'll wait til the end" the main dj was being very threatning and silversmith kept saying "if thats what you want me to do then fine" and the main dj said finally which is what upset silversmith dont quote me on exact words it was something like "if you dont hurry up and get your shit out of here I am going to be pissed and you dont want that to happen" Then silversmith got pissed and spoke the same tone and words to the dj and it kept getting worse from there.

Anyways, I will be at meltdown and if anybody wants to talk to me in person to verify this I'll be there. Maybe even we can meet with silversmith in person and resolve all of this he called the main dj to talk and left vm but no response back. I'm friendly, dont fight, and dont talk lies. I'll come back on this tomorrow at work and see if this can be resolved. I would hate to see my new friends get banned from the scene over something that was never said. It's just not right, but I know the music biz is cut throat.
