Pretty dope for the most part. I think Justin VaughAn shit himself at one point. Timeline went something like: -Bouncing Disco Babies -Dancing Fast food -People Shitting their pants -Crunkdiggity -Clusterfuckofwhitepeopledancingtodatedhiphop Diggin on most of the b-more figity stuff... but when it got all grindy I could care less.

Ridiculous fun, lots of liquor . Boy 8bit warmed it up nicely beforehand, btw. My husband and I got cool t-shirts, a Crookers record, couple of mixtapes, and I got a foot injury when I fell down dancing toward the end. That shit hurt. ![]() Great seeing everyone out! Lots of smiles and laughs and that's what I like to see. . Last edited by Luxe; 11-09-08 at 01:56 PM. |

it was fun, and diplo once again shows that playing the same shit all nite is wack. He played electro(crookers),new baile funk(the new stuff has square basslines and not the typical beat or rocky horns), kurduro mashups(the stuff that sounds like tribal house but at 140 bpm, the a milli version he played is an example), some cheesy trance(the launch), dirty south hip hop(pop lock and drop it, money in the bank), old hip hop(cypress hill and beastie boys), etc. LIked the massive lcd lighting system. I think he played it safe for the most part, because of the lite crowd, but everyone seemed to have fun.

Good Review, Feez. Diplo was solid. Played everything but the kitchen sink. Halfway thru the show I don't know if it was due to everyone getting their Girls Gone Wild up on stage or the audience got gassed but the floor cleared a little. I got a little pizza slice action.

Good party tunes. Definitley not what Diplo played when I saw him in San Fran but valid he was playing for 1,000 + people there. He seemed like he was having a good time though. I was really hoping he'd would have thrown in a little Beach Boys again. None the less, Abe Vigoda rocked my socks. An Animal Collective/Fugazi sound will always get my heart. I was still in a little pain so I couldn't dance & had to cut out early. But I really dug that the people there were all the ones I wanted to see. You guys rule.

Some of you got a chance to see me dance...rare since I'm hauling camera crap most of the time.

No i did kinda have to laugh out loud a couple times during his set, but overall i had an amazing time. Great crowd. I was really really drunk. Hope i didnt piss anyone off. Bill(from Bills records) tried to get me and tyler to take our pants off, but i told him i dont do that for free records anymore and he was cool with that. See you fockers at the next rave party.... | |

So when do you guys review DiPLo? This DiLPo band must be pretty awesome for a cover band.
