Basically the night went like this for me...

Got to Miami a bit late and already pissed at our ridiculous layover in Chicago.

Once outside the club the line wasnt too bad but buying our tickets before hand ensured us entry in front of the line and at a discounted price.

The club itself was pretty awsome. There were images of Sasha's new album being beamed across the walls and ceilings. There was also a giant glowing orb above the bar with gold and red pieces of paper on it representing the image on the cover of his new album. Really fucken nice club.

I ordered my first round of drinks and I couldnt believe my fucken ears....BEERS WERE FUCKEN NINE BUCKS!

oh well......

The place was just filling up and James was playing some really good tunes.....switching from electro type stuff to some breaks and then back to some housier stuff.

I gave up pretty quickly tyring to ID tunes but there was one track with a guys voice talking about chopping down wood or something like that (Attn. Wes spotter). Overall James was jumping up and down and really into his set. Then he gets this track ( He later told me it was a Depeche Mode remix he did) and proceeds to scratch and cut it up. I dont know how the fuck he managed to do that being that the decks rest on rubber bands and therefore very sensitive to movement not to mention the fact that hes playing on a rotary mixer.
Jame's set was awsome and by the time is was Sasha's turn the place was almost to capacity and everyone was already going mental.

A little before Sasha came on I ran into someone whom I recognized seeing out at Lee Burridge and Jimmy Van M in Dallas. His name was Patrick and was telling me about Sasha and James being dissapointed and upset about what went down in Austin.

I thought about that later thinking how really really incredible it wouldve been for everyone here in texas to have been exposed to both these guy's skills together like that.

Sasha gets on and starts off a bit slow and proceeds to build. Overall his set went off the last 2 hours. Last hour were tracks off his new album and then he proceeds to extend a mix of Underworld's latest - Two Months Off ( I made sure to get this track while in Miami) Last song of the night was Cowpander (Cowgirl vs. Xpander) I dont need to tell you the fucken place went off...

Overall Crobar is a badass club with some awsome shows and displays all the while the djs are doing their thing.

The downside to Crobar is that the predictable VIP Miami hip scene bullshit reigns in there as well. Everywhere you looked girls were either trying to be J-Lo or were so heavily Botoxed and siliconed out that they could barely fucken move...

The hotel we are staying at has a free happy hour from 8-10pm.... Whaoh! Free Drinks.... plus I hear being a girl helps

Nothing really wrong with it as long as everyone is having fun....thou I thought it a bit different and a bit too much...

As far as the nine dollar beers you dont even want to know how much we were dropping going out to restaurants.
Especially Bed....where we were tempted to purchase a 3 thousand dollar bottle of Crystal...
