red jacket (friday 09/28/01)

All I can say is, 'wow'.

I got there kind of early, around 10:30ish and the place was
already jamming. Demarcus in the ruby room doing what he
does best. Then Scott Pace reprezented. By midnight the place
was packed.

I believe merrit was spinning in the main room, but I don't take
my word for it. I didn't leave the side room much prior to Dj heather going on.

I must say, I've never been a BIG fan of the red jacket. They have and still bring in some pretty swank talent. After an incident a
friend had there with security, I pretty much boycotted the place (after the derrek carter party, of course . To that friend, Sorry..
that place was ON last night, and I believe I'll be dropping that boycott.

Plus, the atmosphere as become many times more vibey. The ruby room rocks.

Dj heather was awesome. Once again, if you've yet to see her live, I'd recommend doing so. She had the place going till they kicked us out.


The only down side, was they shutdown around 2:30. And while I
understand the logistics, That doesn't mean I have to like them.

To all who was in attendance, it was a pleasure and a blast to share the dance floor with you guys. To all whom wern't, you missed out.
