Okay... Tuesday night at Lanai was badass... Wednesday at Lanai with Thomas Sahas and Alexander East was fun too...not as busy as Tuesday but good stuff still Wednesday afterhours at Firehouse with some guy named Infusion was aight...a little bit proggy for my tasts but I was in party mode Took Thursday night off... Friday went to some event behind the Red River conds...Spettro was playing but his set was cut short when the "Euro" djs showed up... Beauty Bar to catch Ayers...to much mic action... but later that night...Matther Dear destroyed CP with some amazing tech house... Saturday was more MHYH action at Barcelona..White Lotus Society!! and finally off to Erica Badu who sang like two songs and was done... |

I took a dump on 6th st, 2nd st, Brazos, San Jacinto, Lamar, Trinity, 11th st, Congress, Burnet and Guadalupe.

Wed night we started with a house party that was at a 2 story house with the 2nd floor being used as a stage. The rooftop was a patio and there was tons of free beers. I was wanting to see The Golden Filter but the cops shutdown the party early before they got a chance to play. Then it was over on to Club Light to catch Boys Noize who started off pretty good but after 45min that shit got old. Thursday we hit up Luling,TX for some BBQ greatness and then over to The Peacock for a party that was way too fucking packed so we left early. The Golden Filter escaped me once again. We head over to The Bird Barbershop where we caught King Khan and the Shrines. Zion 1 always threw down some good tracks in the inside. We left to go take a disco nap and then it was on to Beauty Bar where we caught Hollywood Holt, Ocelot, Designer Drugs, and The Golden Filter. It was def good times Thursday night at Beauty Bar. We tried getting into Palm Door for another party but damn that shit was beyond packed. Friday we hit up Fader Fort parties early and chilled for the most part drinking free Southern Comfort and listening to Roundtable Knights and Holy Ghost! throw down some tracks in between bands. Then it was on to Emos for Diplo and A-Trak and caught some of King Khan and the Shrines again. We went back to Fader Fort party to catch Peter Bjourn and John who totally blew donkey chorizo. Then we took anotehr disco nap. Friday night was spent going to random spots and chilling and drinking. The highlight of the night was when we ended up at Victory Grill for We Have Band along with Holy Ghost! We Have Band did an awesome cover of Pet Shop Boys - West End Girls. Then it was Holy Ghost! who delivered some awesome disco tunes. Tons of free vodka in the place along with a slew of DDMers grooving to the beats. Saturday we drove back. It was good times. The only acts I was bummed I missed were Little Boots. Oh well.
