I didn't bring a camera, but here are some my friend took. And here's some video from the rave tent: There were close to 4000 people there. No issues, no cop drama.

This party was amazing. First off, BIG props to Ronny and the crew at Motion Loops, the visuals and lasers were absolutely top notch. The decor was really spectacular, too. The overall energy at the party was great, it really felt like everyone there was having a great time. Lots of great outfits and makeup and completely packed dance floors all evening. I actually wish there would have been a little more space in the outside stages. The sound in the D&B tent got a little piercing at times, I couldn't stay in there for too long, also some dumb raver kept clotheslining people with this cord that she kept pullling down over the doorway. While it was entertaining to watch people go down, it wasn't exactly the safest thing... All of the headliners were everything I wanted and it was nice to see some familiar Dallas faces both on the floor and behind the decks. I can't wait for the next one.

I just want to say Jon Bishop is a really fucking cool guy. Due to some serious traffic issues and a wrong address I missed my slot. John let me have the last 20 minutes of his slot to play some tracks and it was the was one of the best 20 minutes I've had djing. It was a really great crowd and a badass vibe, made me totally forget I had the flu! I was wondering, who was the dj that went on after John because the time slots that were posted said Frankie Bones and the guy that went on wasn't Frankie. (he was good tho!) And yes the visuals and lasers were badass.

When I got there SnoWhite had the whole rave tent mobbin early. All the kiddos were eating it up the big room mash ups and all the build-ups. Jay Nicole played some really really nice dance punk/electro-house stuff early on too. I was running around socializing, but I had to poke my head in the DnB tent for a minute when I heard it. Commander Tom had the best set in the indoor/main room, IMO. I didn't care for the bangin shit that Frankie played. I didn't know what to expect from Tom, but was pleasantly surprised. Some fresh remix of Born Slippy caught my ear, and he kept me entertained with a nice blend of classics and new stuff. Kinda similar to what Moby played for Meltdown last year. I settled into to the DnB tent around 2:00 for Danny The Wildchild, and my boy did not disappoint. Absolutely sick. Whoever played dubstep from 3-4 was really fucking good too, and I don't normally care for dubstep. At first, it took me a while to get into it, for all the youngins were making me feel old. After a couple hours though, I was in full on rave mode, a feeling I haven't felt in 5 years. I was able to simultanious feed of the energy of the massive crowd, and dance like no one was watching. I even busted out my old 6 step during Wildchild. It's official: The Rave is NOT dead. Disco Donnie's t shirt even said so.
