![]() | The Wailers & ESP
I literally only had 4 drinks between 10p and 2a, but I guess skipping dinner is what got me. WHEW! After setting up ESP, I headed over to The Wailers. LOTS of great friends, and the positive vibes in the room were SUPER thick. (No, it wasn't smoke) Truly, I've never been in a single place that made me smile that big. My favorite was the older Carribean lady in full rasta get up just getting DOWN in the front row the whole time. I'd think she was a hired dancer for the band, but she wasn't on stage. I think the only person dancing even half as hard was Becky. ![]() I also learned that the Wednesday night reggae show on KNON was taken over by a lady friend of mine that had been helping with KNON pledge drives. She's awesome. Support her show. 10 - 12 Wednesday nights. Then it was on over to ESP. Some of my old Industrial buddies came out to support, and Charlie's work was amazing. Mist's set was super-fine, and I had some superfun times with Dawn, Jamie Ray, her friend Jody, and Becky. Thanks everyone who was a part of a really good night

![]() | Re: The Wailers & ESP What a great night! I want to thank everyone that came to support. Without you it would be only us... Lets see it’s going to be hard to recap but Ill do my best. The night started with Dawn and I tagging some Psy, and let me say if you have the privilege of sharing the decks with the person you love--James and Cyberina know what I’m talking about--its a wonderful thing. We rocked allot of newer full on and didn't get into the hard stuff till the end. James and Cyberina took it from there an nailed us with a barrage of classics like “Free Motherfucker” and the theme song from “Requiem of a dream”..."who wants to waist some time"...completely bad ass...I love working with these guys! Then there was Mist...He opened the night in full Justincaseboy fashion. My fav the track was the one with the ring tone from the original "One Missed Call". And Yes Suza that was "Enter Sandman" you heard. Unbelievable to say the least! Great production quality and undeniable talent is what this man brings every time. All in all it was a great night. We appreciate the support and look forward to the next one! Cheers to my Folks!!!!! -Sean |

Thank you to our guest DJ MIST, you sir tore it up like I knew you would! Had me rockin' out! I'd also like to give thanks to Charles for his beautiful artwork he showcased for the evening, it was a pleasure to be able to give some exposure to a really talented artist. I'm looking forward to the next one already & be on the look out for more wonderful works by some really great people! Sean, you are my love & it was an honor to be able to share with you the experience of tagging your favorite music. James & Sabrina, much love & respect to you as well! thanks to esp for having me out. it's always good to hang out with my awesome extended psy family, listen to great music, have a few(ish) beers, and meet some new peeps. it was also great to have the opportunity to drop a set of pretty much only justincaseboy material in an intimate environment and see how it worked. 50% of those tracks had never been played out before, and it was great to see people getting down to them. the track with the adapted one missed call melody is called yumi's dilemma, by the way. and the metallica remix was from deon (damage). the bjork remix was mine. ![]() the only bad part of the night was the bartender giving my credit card to someone else and having to deal with all of that once i got home at 3:30am.... :\ ps - dawn, still need to get with you as things are really coming together for kingdom of the blind with a quickness.
