allen md. motherfucker rocked the place back there like a true pro. this cat is going places for sure - stellar music selection and correct music production makes this fool a force not to be reckoned with

caught most of mr juan fm's set and it was also on point. perfect vibe for that time of the night with those techy, "almost" progressive beats

and mr warren blew the lid off on dat ass to close up shop. loved that vocal track you started off with bro and I wish you would have had time to play "that one track" hehehe but there is always next time

ps: brett johnson's sound is a necessity - the new lay out for the speakers made a huge difference too!

The place was going off last night. Good times! Even the infamous Lazcano showed up in that mutha but all attendees were required to give up their cellphones. At the end of the night Lazcano thanked everyone for good times and paid for their bar tabs.

the pre bbq was yum, and the after party was a rockin.'

What a groovy ass night, once again. I really dig how everyone was able to grab the floor with their own little sound. Scot, Allen, and J Dubya definitely get down like pros... Nothing but pleasant people all night. Thanks to everyone who showed up, and shook that ass! Big ups to Andy and el Snoop for coming out.. We are really having a nice time with this whole KIK thing, and I can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for all the kind words guys, and thanks to everyone who came out and supported our night. Like Juan said, we are really having a lot of fun with this right now, and more importantly it seems like our crowd is also.

Allen did bring the heat as expected. I got to spin into one of his new tracks too. Fresh.

Aaron and Juan, great job guys. The music sounded great. Aaron opened it up nicely with some deep house, and juan pushed it a little bit further with some dope house tracks. I can tell juan bought some new chit, and the remix of the martin bros "Dum" went off.'

I enjoyed playing a lot of new stuff. Those yorkvilles are incredible. We didn't even come close to pushing them to full potential, and it was still bangin' and loud. Good loud though. Almost perfect actually. One thing I always hated about myself when it came to djing was sitting back there like a bump on a log. I feel like that is a thing of the past now. I have been "feelin' it" more than ever lately, and last night I really enjoyed working off those who were there dancing. It made me smile seeing my mom out there getting down too. We recorded again too, so cross your fingers the mini disc doesn't screw up like it did last time.

Anyways, thanks to Zubar, Brett Johnson, BradH, Aaron, Juan, Allen, littlz, Youngbuck, Sarah, Rufus, myles, jv, austen massachusetts, Chad, and everyone else who came out. We appreciate all of you very much.

Oh yeah also nice meeting Select and Schwa for the first time. Those guys are cool as shit, and we talked music for hours afterwards at Aaron's. Hahaha Aaron's. Oh boy. Yikes. That is a whole 'nother thread right there. I think his roomate may hate us right now.

We have some fresh ideas rolling around for future events, so stay tuned, and K.I.K.
