The universe is working with me on the concert tip. I was gonna take off of work to go to Crystal Castles...i didnt, and we all know what happened with that show. I was also gonna take off of work to go to see Ladytron...and once again there was another concert fail/fluke.
What happened? I heard they didnt make it through even one song...someone else said they played four and stopped. Who out there has the scoop?

Im starting to second guess my present thought of taking off for the Kills show.

they came on the mic and said there was trouble with the monitors. they didn't sound good at all. something was terribly OFF. i dont know exactly what went down or what broke but I've never seen an act just straight up leave the stage like that b/c something went down. They are a touring band. You would think they would have backups of ALL their equipment in case something does in fact break.

I dunno though. I don't know if logistically it would be possible to have backups of all the gear.

But anyway, it sucked that they couldn't finish the set.

The Faint was fucking amazing though.

I'm in a similar boat with these fubar shows.

I sit at home being responsible, bummed that I can't make it...
And then I find out that everyone who went has even more of a reason to be bummed.

Twice now.

I assure all DDMers that I have no more burning desires of going to any shows until mid-May.
