groundworks (first thursday event)

kelle marie absolutely rocked the place. AMAZING DJ and very awesome person (so it seems). I was the poor dj on right after her... hard act to follow. over all groundworks 'first thursday' went really well. lot's of great dj's and some great frickin' coffee. it was really good to see Christopher White (fresh back from California) he will be making regular appearances from now on. Kelle marie, if you read this... thanks soooo much for your grace and talent. The next first thursday is going to be really big, they're are talking to funamation (japanamation guru giants) about comming out and doing some give aways AND they're talking to virgin records about comming out and throughing out lots of promo cds etc. this is definately an underground feeling place with lots of style and talent.......
oh yea, i just wanted to mention dj sona... incredible!! he brought up the end of the night. hardly anyone was left to hear him bring in the smoothness. man did he bring it.... he's one of the groundworks residence but he plays all over DFW, if you get a chance to see him, don't pass it up.
