Bad ass little party.

Mainly for the fact that I proved something to everyone tonight in that contest including myself.

Mad props to Roscoe for takin it. According to the majority I talked to, we put on the best battle of the night.I came so close but well see what happens next time. Plus it feels good to have the respect of the man everyone else in the contest fears.

That bald headed fucker is an asshole he tried to blame me for breakin beer bottles and shit. I pretty much ignored him the whole the night whenever he said something. If I threw parties there I would have a say in how he treats people. If someone is throwing a party and he works for the HomeBAr he should be thankful people use the place instead of abusing his power thinking he's the shit. For real thanx for letting the contest go on Oblique and if I can do it again at another one let me know. It's time that dancers get recognition to just like the DJs. To all that competed mad props to you and if anyone wants to know how it went I'll make another thread in useless blabber to show you how it went down with the names. My only complaint is not seeing the ladies go out and showing these guys up. Thanks to everyone that showed their support and hopefully there will be another night of all breaks. Jobe played the damn freestylaz which surprised me. SInce there were two cameras there Bunny and Oblique I think you two should hook up and edit the tapes so you can have a better one. Just a thought. The contest an overall success I hope you got some good footage and everyone that dances keep it up. Don't wanna see an empty dancefloor at any party. Karlos just to let you know I held the contest off 30min just for you so feel special. All night of breaks nothing can go wrong with that. MAdd Props for organizing it and having such a good turn out without too many people on drugs acting dumb. The vibe was pretty nice too other than the incident when I got there with that one guy. I have alot more to put down but I'll put it down later.

Hell yes. I had a great fucking time and met some BAD ASS people. VERY VERY VERY nice sounds coming from the decks tonight. We need another all breaks night like this one. Well done guys.

Nice party...Nothing wrong at all with hearing slick ass break beats all night long. All of the DJ's sounded great....they definitely had everyone gettin down for sure. Good variety of tough breaks, dirty breaks, free style, slick groovey breaks, all kinds of dope beats....FUCK, I was in break beat heaven for Christ's sakes.

Props to all the DJ's that supplied the beats, the music was great all night.

Shouts to all my homies that were hangin out and kickin it.

Thanks to Mason for introducing me to lots of really nice folks.....
got to meet alot of very friendly (some very sexy) dravers that I didnt yet know, ...glad to finally put some faces with names....hope to see you guys again.

Last night Rawked!!! The music was badass and the vibe was awesome. I could've watched Casey dance all night long cause he's just so freakin' entertaining. And i could have listened to Jobe spin the entire night! It was great to see Mike and Jamie again and to finally meet Sean. (does it get any hotter than him?!?) Fantastic night!!

Jobe (yummmmmy!) it was nice meeting you, i unfortunatly missed your set but from what I hear it was great. Props to Jason and Elliott (sp?) for throwing a dope ass party.

I would like to start this post by recognizing the promoters for the following:

Fresh Fruit (still being cut @ 3:00 a.m.)
The Dance Contest
Decorations on the ceiling

These are special touches that the promoters took the time to make happen... and all too often, those details are overlooked by party-goers.... so THANK YOU!


The dance contest... oohhh... what fun! I loved watching and filiming it! ALL of you ROCK! Even if you didn't "win"... (couldn't just all of them win?)... you had the balls to get up and try... and that is more than I would ever do!


The music... I personally love parties where the genres are not mish-mashed together. The basis of a good party is the vibe that is created by the LINE-UP of the MUSIC! All too often this vibe is broken by promoters putting all different genres on a stage, that don't flow together. For example, how many times have you been to a party where a DnB DJ comes on after a Trance DJ... yuck! Not a good flow at all!

So.... the night had a great flow and the vibe was built up and kept at a good level. The music was a huge part of that! BTW Phil... I think this is why people are talking about the music. Just my opinion! (Pppssst.... if you read the Eddie Halliwell posts, you would have seen about 30 of them focused on the music! Ha!)


I had a great time... chatting with people... and watching the dancing... I would give "shout-outs"... but I will probably forget someone.. and that would suck!

BTW... if you got a MYTH I-S demo from me.... PLEASE let me know what you THINK!!!!
