i think word play style mixing is, well, i just dont really know why anyone would worry about songs titles enough to worry about getting a whole set to have similar themes. my homie used to do that just as a way to mix here and there, but never a whole set.

I've been out dancing in quite a few clubs here in Dallas and the management(owners?) have gone to the dj booth and told the dj's to turn the music down. Whats the use in investing in a sound system if you have to keep it low at all times? Clubs brag about how bad ass the sound system is but don't allow the system to breath.

I guess the credo with clubbing in Dallas is to be seen and not heard...

But in all actuality who in their right mind wants to hear a Fergie/Guns N Roses mashup at top volume????
