I was too lazy to go to Good Records too.

couple complaints...way too hot....I've only been to a few sold out shows there and can't recall it ever getting that hot. Second...I've always taken my slr camera with no problems. Last night I was told my camera was too "professional looking" and to stop taking pictures. I had my 50mm lens.....a fixed lens. Didn't let it ruin my night though. Otherwise show was pretty good. I was impressed with the vocals. Pleased they did an encore. Here We Go Magic was alright. edit: oh ya, it was really cool that Ed delayed the show so that everyone standing in line could make it in before they started. Yeah I've never seen a sold out show @ the granada. the line to get in that place was crazyyyyyyyy & it was insane hot in there. only got to catch here we go magic play the last song 'tunnel vision' - which was the song i put on my last mix. they really rocked that track, especially for it being so mellow on recording. so much better live in my opinion. not only from the crowd but from the start of when grizzly bear played you could tell it would be a different show than when they played at dada a few years ago. it was kinda sad that it was less intimate this time but i kept thinking: this is what getting famous looks like. ![]() they played knife, the electric version of little brother, southern point, ready able, etc....it was pretty funny when they teased everyone with deep sea diver but then started to play two weeks. My favorite of the show was when they played 'lullabye' - the vocals were pretty moving & the bass was good you could feel it under your feet. and to end it all they played 'fix it' for their encore. i gave them a hard time about that song the last time they were here so it was pretty cool they played it this time. all in all a very tiring but amazing show. /music dork out.
