Lake Whitney

Thanks to the Tribal Elements crew and JP and Jay for everything you guys did putting the event together. Met a lot of cool people and got to spend another amazing weekend w/ the some of the coolest, down to earth people in our scene.

The park ranger BS was a complete shock considering past precedent of lake events held at this same locale over the years. I received my first noise citation in 5+ years of playing unsanctioned events so I guess I was due. It dampened my mood a bit but we all endured and stayed to enjoy Saturday night, walking around the camp sites with our ghetto-blaster.

Big ups to ErniePM and LewTheZulu helping me stick it to "the man" with our color commentary while the citation was being written.

Both sound systems sounded great and the location was perfect. Nice sandy beach after you got through the first couple feet of rocks. The inflatable island, the 8' x 8' screen sitting in the water where people were playing Xbox, bounce house, horse shoes, kegs of beer, great food, and amazing people all helped make this an amazing weekend.

Mike - I believe those two red folding chairs are ours. I'll make sure tonight. If they don't have arm rests then they ARE ours!

P.S. Not being part of the lake island sucked. LMAO....and the tube fucked my arm BIG TIME!!!!!!

I still had a wonderful time. I think the weather was perfect at night time. I actually got good sleep on Friday and Saturday night because of that breeze coming in my tent all night. Things happend but that okay we made the best of it. Still a great time hanging out with everyone,swimming,drinking, and etc. I guess Jessie and crew will be looking for a new spot next year and i will be there.

We were dealing with that big ass tent and trying to set it up when we saw you. So after we moved to the spot where the ground was softer, we walked around lookin for ya. Then Saturday we were looking again when we were swimming. We just assumed you guys left early!

thanks albert for the 1 fajita i had, it was dreamy. i ate so much food i could barely walk!

i loved the islands, all that was missing was a cooler on a floaty!

too bad that after this round, that spot has pretty much become unusable. the tribal had a good 7 year run and usually when something like this happens, we all do move on to better locations...

sorry, we never actually made it over to that side of the lake. had fun out there tho... played some golf. watched some golf. got some swimming in. drank some great beers. and have a killer tan.

the lake was nice this year weather wise, just enough clouds to keep you from scorching, cold enough water to keep you cooled off, plenty enough beer to keep you buzzed up! What more can you ask for? Oh and alberts fajitas for the win! You can compete with mom's homemade tortillas!
