We had a great time despite some BS.... it's all a matter of perspective. If you're bored, you're boring, ya dig? You can make a party with tin cans & sticks with the occasional throat-singing

Did you hear about our drive? My wonderful wife who is normally a top notch navigator was talking away with us and we got to Waco before we realized we missed it. Yay for driving the back roads in hick towns!

I also stopped at Willie's Place in Carl's Corner and had a damn good French Dip sandwich on the way back.

this new route didn't have many turns which was real cool but yeah i heard alot of peeps got lost and sorry to all who got pulled over too, i know some who got pulled over multiple times!

if you guys go the 35 route... then you MUST stop in Italy at Texas Best Smokehouse. it's like Baskin Robbins but for Jerky. Beef, Venison, Elk, Alligator, etc... we make a pit stop there on the way back every time.
