haha... bullshit... I'd say 6,000 tops, but looked more like 5,000. Had there been 10,000 people in that place it would have been packed shoulder to shoulder, and the only area like that was the main area during ATB's set.

The great thing... Kitty mc'ing into a tall boy Bud Light.

The good things. The main room sound, WOW!!! Richard Vission's old school set, LED lights on main stage, good vibe from the crowd, DJ Dan tore it up.

Bad things imo... D n B mc's... Good tracks from the djs at times, especially Evol Intent, ruined by two mc's so over the top of the mix it was ugly. Hardcore stage minus Delta 9 was WAY too happy. Brisk and Jen Mas both seemed to play to the crowd(or lack thereof in the hardcore area), which brought out some pretty happy/cheesy tracks. ATB was what I expected, super cheesy with about 75% of his set being buildups for him to pose to the crowd during... Water was $4/$3, kind of expected. Lasers really were not anything to write home about. I expected more of an interactive show, being that they advertised Tim Walsh Laser Spectacles as the laser show.

I have been to many huge parties and concerts, it certainly did not appear to be that many...

Re: Future Fest

That party was insane! I loved the lights, sound, vibe, and the capacity! I find it hard to bitch about anything other then the line outside..fuck waiting for 2 hrs, i would of rather paid the other $30 and walked right in.

Thank you massive intent!!! Thank you Eddie Halliwell! And thank everyone for making this party amazing! Best one I've been to in Texas

Re: Future Fest

I heard that MI paid $2 bucks out of the $10 for parking. So in spite of the cost in parking, I will have to give my respects to MI for that feat!

Re: Future Fest

This party was fucking BOMB! I drove down from Denton for my first Austin event and boy am I glad I did such! Eddie played a great set of tech-trance and ATB's predictable and ever-entertaining trance tunes kept me on my feet. I even found myself stomping to some ATB a couple times! The main area was definitely the place to be considering the huge space to dance, the air conditioning, the water fountains, the sitting areas, the lights and lasers, the EPIC sound system (engage permanent hearing damage), and the large amounts of crazy people doing what they do best: partying fucking hard. The outside area was ballin' for sure too if you dig those jams, although it was still hot as shit outside. The room upstairs was very cool too if you wanted a change, though it never got too crowded. The balcony was a nice place for some fresh air and the ice machines near the concessions definitely got raided by cold H2O mongers

All in all (besides the parking and will-call ticket line) it was an amazing show. Kudos to all who set it up and ran it smoothly. Once you got inside it was like a playground for liberals in their 20's. The police were everywhere but not prying, merely protecting. I approve of this party and would definitely do again. Cheers!

glad it went off. hope to attend an event. hope you guys dig deeper on those lineups. scope out some of the east coast events for inspiration and possible deals.

Re: Future Fest

yeah most of those artists weren't very progressive in nature. i mean i understand the multigenre appeal but not a single headliner appealed to me. thats saying alot considering how many they had.

Oh I totally hear you. It's always nice to have something new when partying, maybe it would be good to have me as the person that picks the line up next time.

You can be my assistant. We can just book the acts & MI can produce the rave.

I can invite my rave friends.

it will be a ten.
