I got there at 10:00 and the Main Dome Area was getting packed already. Not to mention the long line of cars and people at the front getting tickets. I didnt realy get to go around and see all the areas as we were taking care of business. But I could tell the Vibe was def there once again. Wish I could stuck around longer and enjoyed everything but till next time, thanks Jimmy, you REAAALLLLLYYY pulled this one off!!! -Respect

Guys, I am a rookie and went to my first raver ever last night with a lady friend. We had the best effing time ever. Unreal to say the least. We said we'd be going to all similar raves in the future. We both loved the different options in and outside the expo center and the large gathering of thousands. When is the next rave in Texas similar to what we experienced at Future Fest? |

Very fucking awesome event. I was fucking pissed at how long it took cars to get it & the $8 was stupid considering the parking wasn't even in a parking lot THEN another fucking line of ppl where no one was directing ppl where to do or what to have ready & only 2 ppl working a 4 ticket window. It took one dude FIFTEEN MINUTES to get his ticket. But help came in soon as I started talking shit & it was a lot quicker. But as soon as we got in & walked into that main room, omg, it was like walking into the bronco bowl. Amazing light show, sick sound set up, live performance by wildchild. Main was fucking awesome. The only area that ended up hurting was the hardcore stage since the dnb stage was so fucking loud that it was impossible to even talk in that area. I ended up sticking toliet paper in my eyes so my ears would start to bleed. The dnb area was insane for most of the night, just really hard to hear very well b/c the volume was SO LOUD. It was insanley loud... that entire crowd was rowdy from begining to end. I had a fucking blast. I don't even LIKE trance but I was like ATB is fucking it UP! Then danced for a while until it got pretty trance-y i.e. dolphin sex. Really great A/C going on the main room so it made this even comfortable to be able to get in the stands in there & just watch the light show & everyone dancing. |

This party was fucking BOMB! I drove down from Denton for my first Austin event and boy am I glad I did such! Eddie played a great set of tech-trance and ATB's predictable and ever-entertaining trance tunes kept me on my feet. I even found myself stomping to some ATB a couple times! The main area was definitely the place to be considering the huge space to dance, the air conditioning, the water fountains, the sitting areas, the lights and lasers, the EPIC sound system (engage permanent hearing damage), and the large amounts of crazy people doing what they do best: partying fucking hard. The outside area was ballin' for sure too if you dig those jams, although it was still hot as shit outside. The room upstairs was very cool too if you wanted a change, though it never got too crowded. The balcony was a nice place for some fresh air and the ice machines near the concessions definitely got raided by cold H2O mongers ![]() All in all (besides the parking and will-call ticket line) it was an amazing show. Kudos to all who set it up and ran it smoothly. Once you got inside it was like a playground for liberals in their 20's. The police were everywhere but not prying, merely protecting. I approve of this party and would definitely do again. Cheers! |

Future Fest was my first large ever and I went with a friend. She and I had the time of our lives and I cannot put into words how I felt on the main floor dancing for hours. Her and I talked on the way home about going to all future raves in Austin (where we live) and we wish there was one every weekend. I got a flyer for Divas on Labor Day weekend. Does anyone know how that will compare to last nights? Same vibe just less people? The flyer says 5000 capacity as opposed to the 10000 last night. Is Divas the next large rave in Austin or is there another one before that?

It was a great show IMO even though I didn't show up till about 12. I haven't been to a party/rave in years, and this brought back some old memories. Not as good as the old days, but it was still great to go. The main area did remind me of Bronco Bowl back in the day.

Got there at 3am finally, had some other business in town and didn't get out of it until then, Liked what I saw. Great number of people, nice lighting system on the main stage. Overall a nice setup. I did have a few issues tho, The sound on the main stage was way louder than it needed to be. It also needed some delay stacks to push the sound further into the back of the room. I think that could have evened out the sound a ton. The DnB area was piercing loud, way more Highs than lows, which is a bit backwards. The Hardcore stage was pretty nice, again tho, too much highs and not enough bass, mainly I think because it was competing with the DnB stage. the main area also needed some more access to the floor from the upper seating area 2 more stair cases down to the floor could have helped a ton. Other than that, an amazing great job guys!!!
