Party people, talent, vibe among the gatherers, scenery, and once again TALENT - priceless!! Busted, toothless, vibe-killing tweakers who owned the place - FAIL. Still, one of the best. Will never forget this one! And if anyone knows a girl there named Megan who was wearing a red and white bikini top and blue bandanna Saturday night, please tell her the guy with the "Hasidic Jew Cowboy Hat" would like to contact her about belly dancing. |

I had a blast despite the volume during my set. It was soo cool to see everyone grooving regardless. It was funny trying to explain to the hillbilly sound guy that what i was using was a midi controller and could not be used to turn up the volume. near the end of my set came the fuzz. Now, I am never one to knock somones due dillagence in thier career but i think the cop may need to re-read the laaw, this time with a thesuarus. I was playing and the cop comes up to me. "Is this your equipment?" me: "This is my laptop" him: "Are these your projectors?" me: "No" him "Well, I need to find whoever is projecting these images" I think at that very second there was a 1960's mod orgy going on in the film him "You see the images on this screen are inappropriate, and that is disorderly conduct" me: "Small laugh, your kidding right?" him *frownie face that said he wasnt kidding* He could have pegged us for a # of things, noise violation, etc.. but disorderly conduct for showing porn on a screen, COME ON! all in all a great weekend, Jesse deserves props he rolled like a streamroller through all the shit that was thrown his way!

Had a great time thanks for having me out there folks. Lots of good peeps and got to meet a few more people I've never met before and got to play a few different times between Friday and Saturday night. Kinda wish I brought a tent and did the for real camping experience but I'll save that for next time. Also got to eat some good bbq on the way back up. After this week, partying in Austin is my next out of town goal. See ya'll next time.

we had a good time. great weather under the stars. good music for sure. really enjoyed hearing shuttle again. just short of some padded cell goodness. ishi was great as usual as well. heck everyone was good.

but yeah... i had a grrrrreat time. lots of beautiful muzik all over. SUNSHINE JONES... AMAZING! the weather was so perfect i didn't want to leave sunday. big thanks to the lovely person who turned my camera over to hippie sound guy. good peeps. |
