Armin rocked the place. Smooth mixing all night. He had great stage presence and everyone was chanting his name all night. Dude had a smile and looked like i was having a blast with the crowd.

Thats the kinda dj's i like to go see. The energy was high. He did play all the way till 4am. And pretty much held onto the crowd till 330. Then everyone started falling out.

It was good seeing karen out after such a long time. And cool to meet johnny. Great night

It was a good show, almost got kicked out because the dude up @ VIP said to use the bathroom next to the upstairs bar, down the stairs. I got really tired of having to fight my way to the damn pisser and up so I asked about it and he told me to use that one. I go down there bout' my 3rd trip and I get some guys who don't even work there grabbing me and saying wtf I was doing, I explained myself that I was told to use that, and they were just being idiots and escorted me out through the back. After explaining myself to the door guy about what happend, I got back upstairs, but by that time. The incident had already ruined the great vibe Glenn and the early start of Armin gave me. So in the end me and my friend ended up leaving shortly after. But man, Glenn effin' ripped it! That Prydz track was phat!

I wasn't very impressed w/ Armin's set for the first 2 hours, he played what I would consider a 'safe' set. There was very little I didn't recognize, and given that I haven't listened to one of his sets in at least a month that speaks volumes. He played a bunch of stuff the crowd already knew, which is fine and they loved it, I just wanted to hear newer & less fluffy stuff. It wasn't until after 2:30 or so that he started getting harder, but by that point I was running on fumes so I didn't really get into it much. I ended up sleeping in the car at around 3:15 until Karen came out at ~4.

Glenn Morrison was forgettable as well imo, though I think he was playing his role as Armin's setup man like he's supposed to.

It wasn't worth $40, especially given that I thought the balcony was going to buckle when 2...uhh, 'larger' people behind us started bouncing in rhythm to the beat. It felt like I was on the roof of the Sandbar every time they heard a song they knew.

No no no and wrong. I was helping full access out with the door. I was standing by armin when the door was done while he was spinning. He recognized me, we said hello and hugged. Someone wanted pictures of he and I together. We posed for a couple of pics and that's it. I didn't have any music with me. Even if I did, why would I try to play at a trance show????? Armin is a very cool guy and we were just having conversation. I went home shortly after that.

Really, you thought I would try to take over another DJ??? Especially a trance one????

Well I had an amazing time! Jonny's $40 was well spent on ME... if not him! I just didn't over think it. I went out, drank a lot of vodka and got my freaking party on! Loved every minute of it!

I just thought you might be there to close things down when he got done, that's all. I don't think you'd try to horn in on another DJ's night or anything.
