Yeah, I just like to point out the BS of people with limited minds. Silly me for thinking any of the DDM posters would get that, I keep expecting more intelligence and appreciation from people in Dallas and that's my fault being optimistic and from Oklahoma. Just because people commented on the dancers, who were a part of the show (you couldn't look at the artists without seeing a chick with parkinsons behind them heh) doesn't mean that they didn't care about the actual talent there. As per my post, I mentioned how amazing it was before I even touched on the chick topic. I take note of every part of the show; whether it be the atmosphere, the turnout, or the secondary entertainment. All of those are what makes it a show. Not trying to start shit, cuz I want peace today for once, but it doesn't make it cool for you to insult all of Dallas' intelligence. You're the one being close-minded. That's ignorance, which boils down to lack of intelligence, or the refusal of it.

You are not the one under attack girlie, so no need to attack me in return. Yes your review had info in it about the actual show, others did not at all only stating how they would have paid just to see the dancer as if the musicians were unnecessary. It's an attitude I find insulting, but I consider the source and it's expected so no harm no foul. You may like girls or not, and may have had the best intentions with your defending your city's intelligence, but I have never been accused of being close minded because it's simply not true and that's just ignorance on your part assuming as much. I was born here in Dallas 38 years ago, despite spending the better part of my life in Oklahoma, I decided to move back here to take part in the burgeoning electronic music scene. I have always been open to new ideas, experiences, etc and this is exactly why I am here. Take care not to take someone's opinion as a personal attack, I agree with your assessment of the party for the most part so PEACE.

I didn't assume that it was a person attack, first of all...I'm pretty sure I mentioned the word DALLAS in my post. The being close-minded part stemmed from you insulting those that spoke about the girls. Everyone has a right to comment on what they want, it's a public forum full of good and bad. Just keep that in mind, that's all I'm asking. I mean, come on, they're guys. Of course they're gonna talk about some skanks shaking their asses lol

Those girls were a part of the show weren't they? So I believe your grievances are with Gilbert and the Lizard Lounge who put those girls up there in the first place, not those of us who commented on the entire show including the girls.






Or I guess you can say we're a bunch of sexist pigs. How could we sit there and watch some girls in nearly nothing shaking their asses on stage? How dare we watch such a display of sexism? I'm sorry I didn't close my eyes the whole show. My bad.
