...fuckin' killed it. First time to see him live. Played some jackin house and then slowed it down to the mushroom jazz style, then sped back up. Couldn't keep anyone standing still at that place. phew!! Did I mention this was in Hawaii?

Yikes! All those rocks underwater. I almost drowned at Kalihiwai beach. strong rips. Good times though...

nice! I was just there last month. I want to go back like whoah. All the hot dads with their kids on the beach.... Is that bad?

Anyway, I stayed to the "safe beaches" this 'mo can't swim real good. I found the mai-tais at the marriott made up for that.

I so wish I could be there! I think I went boogie boarding at Poipu. I think. I don't remember the exact name, but one of the locals recommended it... and by the descriptions here I think that was the one Crazy waves and a mean-ass rip!

Yah, you screw up and you bite it hard on the volcanic rock. Down the way is the spot where Harrison Ford and Anne Heche jump off the "cliff" in the movie "seven days six nights".

Venue was small and cozy, glass walls, right next to the water (could see the surf in the dark), sound was amazing. I was surprised how packed it was there. What an awesome place to spin.

Poipu beach is perfect for body boarding. Not so much for surfing, though. Good 6 to 9 foot waves when we were there with solid, consistent sets.

The Point @ the Sheraton Hotel. Real intimate venue. From what I understand, he does it as part of the annual Mushroom Music Festival. Plays Kauai, Maui, and Oahu in three days. Do you visit often? My dad and brother live out there so I visit at least once a year. Glad it coincided with this festival this year!

We make a point to go out there at least once a year. That will be good to know when we plan to go back. I always thought that there could be potential for something intimate and cool like that on Kauai. Everytime we are out towards Beach House area and such, it makes me think it could be like Nikki Beach , yet on a much smaller scale

That's awesome you go out there every year. I love Kaua'i. It'd be a dream to spin somewhere tropical like there.
