And like JV said... Does it really matter? He clearly sells what he offers. So yeah... point, laugh, complain, belittle, etc... all you want.

Oh trust me, I know he's sitting around naked covered in pudding in a pile of money laughing his ass off at these clowns. He's defn8ly got his scam down. He walked with, well it'd not my place to say how much he made sat.....but it's fucking ridiculous. But whatever, doesn't make dude any less corny. And how weird is it that there are people who think we're wrong for thinking the music is more important than onstage antics. Silly us.

Im not really disagreeing with you on the 'he could do more' aspect. Simply saying theres a market for that... and its clearly much greater than people give credit for... or at least at the DDM good-ol-boys-club-of-the-way-it-should-be table. Not everyone (actually I would gather the great minority) goes to shows like this to hear the vast intricacies of mixing, production, etc, etc. Most people go to shows like this for fun. They want the lights, the pyro, the video, the dj jumping around like an energizer bunny, etc, etc. I brought up a point like this when someone posted up one of those Azteca de Playa or whatever that guy is. Is it cheese? Yeah. But those festivals and concerts look hella fun. Fun... Maybe in the big scheme of things that is what is lost here.

When I play with Corey I get super hyped by feeling the people out there get super hyped. Sometimes I jump around like an idiot but its all because its honest and thats how I feel. Posing isnt much for techno music anyway =) |

Of course there are djs that can work huge crowds doing nothing more than burying their head in a mixer. Just like there are djs that have big rock concert like stages. Both can be just as fun... Imagine that... different strokes. Table must not be big enough for differing opinions
