Soooooo I couldn't be there for the LAST night of JV & Tim's spectacular tues. Moosh weekly............but I heard it was a proper good-bye. Highlight of the evening being Edwin Watson's drop of Vanilla Ice's Ice-Ice-Baby! Brilliant! Tuesday at Moosh will be missed...

you two better be in the works of something new & exciting to give to us on tuesday!

Yes it is true......INDULGE Tuesdays at the Moosh are no more! It's really too bad that some bar owners just don't get it, especially when it's a place as nice as Moosh! That bar is going to have a lot of problems accomplishing the goals they have set if they don't wise up and recognize those individuals that actually 'do' put effort into making a place a success and those who 'don't'.

But in it's place, we bring you RELAX Wednesdays at the Open Bar, starting mid October. Jacob Steele, myslef, and weekly guests....more info coming soon!

...the past 5 months has been a learning experience for -jv- & myself. we're actually very young in terms of time in the dallas scene not to mention experience on the decks (i.e, we've only been spinning for more than a year plus it was our FIRST residency). The Indulge Project (Moosh on Tuesdays) exceeded my expectations when I started the night on April 9th. bringing -jv- on board as my co-resident really helped w/ the success of our night as well as bringing on some of the most recognized guest DJs in the scene:

We knew that a Tuesday night was going to be tough esp. giving the time of the week & the location (LWR Greenville). The venue was perfect! The booth & setup - PERFECT! The vibe & the people that we've met because of this night - Perfect! Alot of good came out of this. But due to a lack of support (& not to mention a lack of something else that won't be mentioned) from the establishment's owner forced our dreams of having a 6 month anniversary down the toilet. It really hurts to know that it's the owner that doesn't give a helping hand to two determined young men responsible for the success of one of his nights not to mention a VERY SHADY "promotions" person hired by the owner to deal w/ the venue's DJs. As the "promotions" person told -jv- in regards to our music, "we don't play that techno crap here!" Very disrespectful if you ask me. But aside from the drama cast by said individuals, I'll continue w/ the reply. Promotions, free CDs, & constant promoting via the internet played a vital part in our success on Tuesday nights despite competing w/ the likes of Zubar (which was 2 doors down) & the ever-successful 'BUMP' @ Orchid.
Congrats to -jv- & Jacob Steele on bringing RELAX to Dallas @ Open. -jv-, as usual, is working hard on tracks to mesmerize you w/. As for the people that know me, you know that I've been trying to take some time to rest & to complete my other obligations. There might be something lined up for another Tuesday night residency in the very near future but will be put on the back burner for the meanwhile until further notice. Plus the fact that myself & two other DJs have gotten together to begin production work in the next couple of weeks has captured most of my attention for the moment.
Finally, on behalf of -jv- & myself, I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you for coming out to Moosh & helping us get our names out there in the scene for the brief 5 months that we were there. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! We wouldn't have lasted this long if it wasn't for you people! THANK YOU!
