Meltdown 4 - Horrible Night, Great Party, Awesome People... - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

Hey you guys...I tell you what, Meltdown 4 was awesome. It was really awesome. The entire night I was just surrounded by this great vibe. It has been about a year since I have felt the vibe that I had on Saturday.

I thought that it was going to be the shittiest night ever starting out though. We had so many problems. One of the chicks with us was being ridiculously self centered about everything, and I finally got sick of hearing her, so I told her to shut up minus a few words...Some of our friends had an accident that totalled their car and we had to meet up with them and some police officers before we could go to M4, actually the situation turned out good though b/c with the police escort, we didn't have to pay for parking ($8 - WTF???) And we all realized that there actually are some cops out there that are truly nice people. My pink pants were completely brown on the bottom within the first minute b/c of all the mud between the main room and the freakin' rodeo arena thing...I mean, I was just praying that the night would get better.

Well...My prayers were answered. I heard some of the most amazing sets that I have ever heard in my life. I swear I was in heaven the whole entire time. I didn't see any police officers, and I saw SO many people that I met at Zen Fest that I hadn't talked to or seen in so long. That was amazing...People were walking up to me and giving me hugs and stuff. It was great. It was a really refreshing start over for a night that started out pretty rough. Paul Van Dyk was so incredible. I was spell bound from the start. It has been a while since I have been so amazed by a set that I listen to it entirely from beginning to end. All I have to say is WOW. I thought I was gonna be freezing, but my outfit was perfect even though my pants got dirty...

Anyways...I have to run to class...I want to tell all my friends that I said hello...Sorry if I only saw you for a few seconds, but I just wanted to let you guys know that you are all awesome, and I will see you in about a month hopefully for Kandy Kanes. Love you guys...

Paul Van Dyk definitely impressed me! Thanks to my friend Lyssa for convincing me to go with her and her friend Anna. Great to see ALL my friends that I wanted to see including the hottest girl in the world Kristy which was her first party! I practically danced my ass off and had a wonderful time overall...oh yah thanks for charging us $8.00 for parking!
