The party wasn't bad for a virgin town...But Sarahtonin was fucking awesome. Yep, yep. I didn't get to see the end of her set....anyone wanna tell me how it ended?

I had a great time!!! The vibe was really good for a virgin town. The venue was off the hook!!! Totally reminded me of the Ridgelea Theatre in Ft. Worth. The house DJ that was on before me was awesome!! I didn't catch his name but I was impressed. Issiah (sp?) the promoter did a great job getting everything going.

Cradlerock was UNREAL!!! He needs to be up in Chicago or in Miami. He is the best House DJ I have seen in a long time. His turntableism is unfathomable.

I wish I could have heard Carbon Community, but I had to jet because I had to get up early.

The party was a success in my book.

cradlerock and juice was off tha mothafuggin' hook!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahah awesome. as for sarahtonin im normally a house head but she had me groovin. and sorry guys. but i thought carbon community just didnt keep up. everybody was totally getting sick and funky then they came on and it mellowed out too much for me. but then sarahtonin came on and started the place rockin again. too bad about carbon that guy cody is hot....and hes pretty nice too. he told me they were going to be at the LL next friday so maybe i will like it better then.

as for the rest of the party. oklahomians suck major arse. never would i pay 12 bones to go to a party and just sit on my rump the whole time. those kids were freakin dry humping to house music. am i the only one to think that is sacreligious or something?????!!!???!!!???

they had a keg of bud lihgt and it was free so i drank the shit out of free beer till it floated. that rawked! oh yeah, by the way, did i say free beer rawked!!!!

the venue was phat, but I will never step foot in OK agin. Thanks for the phat beats Juice and Cradlerock.

reazon- Heheh, you prolly wouldn't have recognized me anyway! I'm glad to hear you made it, though. I felt not so good-and can't dance worth shit, so umm...when I did muster the energy to *try*, I'm positive I was just another yuppie you kiddies were laughing at!

I do have a few things to say about last night....First of all, Ardmore has a very tine scene. Most of the kids out there are badass punk kids that like the music, but are "too hardcore" to get into the music and dance. Except for our Humpers. SupaDupaPLUR420- I agree with you. The Humpers were wrong. Straight up wrong. I don't really want to go into further detail of what I thought of that...Nonetheless, most of those kids have never been exposed to the scene until now. Typically, there's a fear factor that comes with something new. No one wants to make a fool of themself trying.

That leads into my second opinion- I realize it's insanely uncool to be a kandi kid, glow sticks are simply lame, and if you're remotely new and trying-You're a fucking loser. JUSTaGRRRL, the kids with the glow sticks, weren't doing it to be cool. They weren't even trying to fit in. Most of them are new and knocked their balls a few times. BUT, they were having fun. They may not have danced their asses off, and ya know, this might be my *humble-googly-ish pussyass plur don't give a fuck* attitude, but umm...is that not better than sitting on your ass getting drunk all night?

Perhaps I'm going overboard-I simply can't stand to listen people bash kids that do what they do innocently.

Oh well, Ardmore may suck right now, but these kids just need a little exposure. I'm very glad Issiah is working on this! *hands the mentioned kudos*

On a side note-I realize some of you may never come back to Ardmore. That's fine. I bumped into a guy that made the effort to attend last years attempt at the Hip Pocket. Believe me, if any party has ever hit the depths of hell, I think that was it. Nevertheless, he came back again this year. I just hope there are more like him out there. We sure as hell do need it.

okay first of all. i had a good time Second of all i'm sorry that u took what i said the wrong way. I of all people have nothng, and i mean absolutely NOTHING against kanid kids or kids who spin glowsticcks..for gods sake i used to live for those things. Don't read so much into what i say next time please or it will just confuse you. I wasn't saying naything bad diretly to the glowstick spinners, they were having a good time, i could tell andit made me smile. dont get the wrong impression about the kind of person I am and everything will be ok.

this is my second party in ok. i went to see humpty vission at a skating rink in okc. the party was called "trip tha light fantastic II " and was put on by freshmaka i beleive and it sucked so i tryed again.
i dont think people really care about the glowsticks and kandi kids that much anymore. i know im just learning how to spin poi (thanks bebe) and i DID bust my balls! and my boobs, and my eye, and my nose. but ill get better and ill come back to ok and show all those boys up. by the way i was the chicha in the crazy blue pantsuit with the sparkly hair!

As said by global danca, it might not be a big deal anymore, but I really don't want them to be bashed down before they get a chance to get into it. Which, by the way, global danca...you really ought to come and show these boys up. My darling and his buddy (I think perhaps they were the first kiddies spinning that night?) have slowely but surely been teaching the other boys...it's certainly time someone put them in their place! (I tried...tried...tried again...and finally decided I'd better get insurance before I kept on...)

i had a great time in ol' Ardmore on friday. i was honored to open up for such talented DJ's as Juice and CradleRock. and GOD DAMN, CradleRock is the schizzle to end all bizzles. my favorite part of his set was when he laid down "I Always Feel Like Somebodys Watching Me". That kid is too damn good to not be a superstar. Carbon Community was also tha shit! and of course Katina threw down some wicked DnB trax to close the night out/ ( did anyone else catch the old hicks line dancing during her set,. . . skill!) hope everyone else enjoyed themselves. props to my homey Isaiah for putting in such hard work to make the night a success. peace out playboys and girls
