D Fuse @ LL

I had fun, danced my ass off... thanks to all who made this possible. We left at about 2:00 am and the place was still packed!

Oh my fucking god.

And who says trance is dead.

Me and my friend chris get there at 12 and dance a bit and mingle around for a while until d-fuse comes on. It was alright but way to crowded so up until about 2:15 and I tell chris that im about ready to head out. Until I realize that the dance floor was thinning out so I decide to keep dancing.

After busting out for a while I look up and D-Fuse is sitting there pointing at me saying "YOUR THE SHIT".

Lets just say there was no way in fucking hell Im missing the end of this set. The rest of the time he did a bangup job of keeping the crowd that was left hyped the fuck up.

2 and a half hours later he comes straight down from the DJ booth comes over to me and shakes my hand and we proceed to have a quick convo about progressive and the state of the current scene. I was in awe. Sorry this was just so fucking cool to me.

What a bad ass. Hardley trainwrecked and a class act. I cant fucking wait till the next time he comes down here.

More DJ's should recognize the people getting down to their tunes!!!

Too bad we missed it.... but I had a funeral to attend yesterday... after getting off a 10 hour flight... so, I was asleep by 10:30 at night... fighting jet-lag...

Holy shit, D:fuse was by far one of the most impressive dj's I have ever seen/met, I've never seen a dj get so into his own music,he got the crowd going. And for all of you that didnt dance or didnt stay till the awsome end, you missed one hell of a performance.

All in all I think it was the best time at the Lizard Lounge I've ever had the Vibe was in full affect and the man D:fuse cowboy hat and all, was terrrin it up like I knew he would.
Also Congrats to Funk W, it was my first time to see him, he was impressive.

First of all you need to know your music, and IT WAS NOT PROGESSIVE HOUSE get your genras right boy, but I guess you wouldnt know that because you probly didnt stay, he threw down tracks like, Flaming June, Words, aka trance. Secondly to say that this man was boring is like saying pigs fly, obviously you dont appreciate the music and the dj, why did you even go.

If you came to dance and appreciate the sounds of the dj and himself, have a wonderfull time otherwise get out.

Actually for those who havent noticed ive been trying to be nice and not hate on my one genre of dislike.

Its a kinder. Gentler Casey. Like the one that touched charlies mom.




And as far as eurotic goes. Trust me. You can ask stan and any other progger on here. Despite the fact I dont care for the genre I have done a bit of home work.That was not progressive by any means of the word. You see, when you take the cheese factor out of the trance (Im sure you had to go through the videobar and put up with andys music at some point, now thats the trance you might of been expecting mixed in with a lot of "Noise House" that andys so notorious for) then you get the resulting product of last night.

Which, even though im not a huge fan of trance, that was by far the most intelligent trance Ive heard. Real good stuff.
The fact that he was such a nice guy just made the night complete.


But hey to each his own. If you didnt enjoy it you didnt like it,.

Now then, back to my mudvayne cd. hahahhahahaha

I can't say the same about the music though. I would listen to it in like 2 minutes intervals then go back outside. Atleast I tried though.

Juice told me that D:Fuse ended up at the Clubhouse for an after hours appearance...

He got to tag with D:Fuse... and D:Fuse being the awesome guy he is... just wanted to throw down a few records at the party... for free.

Of course... I must say that Eddie Halliwell also wanted to do the same... but the residing DJ wouldn't let Eddie on the decks that night... hee-hee... A Gatecrasher DJ offering to spin for free... and he gets told no??? Oh well... what goes around comes around... I suppose a few would say.


Either way... that was totally cool of D:Fuse to throw down for the hell of it... and to tag with Juice... !!!!

Karen , i guess you were not informed properly about letting Eddie spin at the clubhouse. It would have been an honor to let him spin that night. I asked him to get his records and spin. He said he just wanted to hang out. I talked to eddie about things such as dj'ing, etc... If you have read about him and talked with him about djing he is very particular about the equipment he spins with. He is an expert at his craft and is very picky about equipment. He was hanging out right behind me when I was spinning talking about everything. The allen & heath mixer that I use at the clubhouse isn't a mixer he likes at all. The cross fader doesn't operate the way he likes in order to do his tricks, such as scratching. I have known D:fuse for a while and when he showed up at the clubhouse I was honored to let him spin. He threw down for about an hour and then. D:fuse, juice and myself tagged for the rest of the night. It as a great time. I am always about hooking people up because I know how hard it is to get started, and can offer the help that I needed when I got started, and i certainly wouldn't disrespect a Dj such as Eddie Halliwell. I think Juice can back me up on that. Dj's should other dj's. the clubhouse is a great venue, and I have brought Juice, and others there to spin because I do enjoy helping others when I am able. This last night at the clubhouse was off the hook. I wish you could have been there to check it out. Also D:fuse enjoyed it so much he wants to come back soon. He really has a great attitude which is cool to see from a successful people and Eddie Halliwell has the same great attitude. It's people like this that help set a great example for others to learn from which will in turn help make us successful as well in whatever we do.
