St. Patrick's Day Mick's Bar Rave!!

Oh damn........I'm just barely able to crawl to my computer and post this review of what happened Saturday.

Had to wake up around 8 in the morning to get ready despite the fact me and Tim had been drinking the night before.
Head out to Mick's and set up only to have to wait and see what was going to happen. The calm before the storm.
Started off with some nice warm melodies afterwards me and Tim began to crank the tuneage.
Tim did a great fucken job. He was fucken on and it pushed me to go off even harder. Drunk mayhem everywhere. It was a bit warm and a bit hard to manuever around sometimes. Overal it was fucken awsome. I told you guys me and Tim were going to throw everything including the Kitchen Sink out the speakers.

Afterwards Rob Vaughan climbed into the booth and commandeered the USS Mick's into some seriously good track territory with Ragman in tow as well.
As many of you already know it was complete drunken chaos outside. There was some seriously good hip hop being thrown down right outside the door along with some DnB.

I want to first and foremost thank Mick's bar along with Brad for allowing me and Tim to throw down in front of its awsome and receptive guests. Also mad thanks and respect goi out to Timmers whom a lot of you already know is a bad bad man behind the decks. Dude has some bad ass records and great energy behind playing them.
Thank you Nate and Stacey and Elevated Beat for giving us this chance as well.

Big ups and praise go out to Rob, Ragman and Edwin for the following carnage that ensued. Thanks to Mr. Matt for the drinks.
Thanks to Jay Winborn for letting us kick it on his balcony and witness via front row seats Dallas P.D's street sweep team in action.

All in all I guess you guys can already tell this year's St Patties day festivites were full on. Everyone go check out Tim at the Lounge upstairs of One or at Orchid this week to get a taste of what happened over at Mick's.

BTW... Mick's Bar no longer has a kitchen sink!!!

I don't know if I'm fully recovered yet... only time will tell!! But yes, take Fernie's werd - it was FUCKIN' FIERCE - BOTH INSIDE & OUTSIDE!!!!! Fernie did an outstanding job as he gave it to the Mick's crowd!!!! A very receptive crowd indeed as was the Mick's bar staff who made the day very fun for us!!! The Atmospheric Society fuckin' ROCKED OUT!!! They did a fabulous job throwing down a great set (even though they probably knew I was hammered!!) This was one of the best times I've had in a loooong time & boy did i need it!!! Great way to kick off the spring!!!!!!

A BIG THANK YOU TO BRAD & HIS BEAUTIFUL STAFF @ MICK'S BAR!!!!! Thanks also to Fernie for letting me spin w/ him, Yvonne, Nate & Stacey & their posse, mr. matt & his girl, The Atmospheric Society for being bad-asses, Rob Vaughan & Cary Raglin (Ragman) for that cool-ass tag team set, Edwin Watson for a very bumpin' set, Jay Winborn for letting us hang out on the balcony, Shay & Shana, absynth3, revolv, spamgazm & katalyst... and thats all I remember seeing... oh yeah... big thanks to BEER!!

Every time I went outside you guys were on point. Good thing you guys got the umbrella/shade sitation sorted.

i woke up finally bout 3:00pm looked over at the clock and kick the sh#@ out of my self for over sleeping
well wish i could of been there sounds like it was dope as hell

MIcks was the one of the only stopping points we stoped At.
The music was very compeling. It was fun to be around that many drunk people all having fun. Rob was very good sitting high above the crowd. Jammin out. Good service good music. Great shots of jager. Porto poties right out back. You couldnt ask for a better place to party.
