just got home, and had a great time. much better than sleeping in! the sound was pretty good, and i got to hear all the tunes i came to hear including:

reborn rmx <-sounds even better LIVE than on the dsl CD
final judgement - doms rmx <-Pretty sick shit...coming soon from TOV
the plague rmx <-not as dope as the original, but still sick
the calling rmx <-schweet!!!

was hoping for the original heavy metal too, but that would be asking WAY TOO MUCH!!! anyway, dope shit...this was definately a great week for dnb in dallas. lets keep in running strong, and support ALL of our weekly dnb events. see u thursday...

Dom laid it down propa, IMO his track selection schooled Andy C's cuts thursday... shout out to kenneth tha b-day boy for lookin out for me and showing the selfless attitude that makes our community worth being a part of. sorry to tha dude i kicked in tha circle... i wasnt exactly sober.

Oh and to all the fucktards that throw flyers in tha fuckin' toilets (as if the bathrooms at our most reliable venue arent already a disgrace)... congratulations. Your irresponsible behavior has led to the homebar (at least temporarily) banning flyer promotions in the building. People whine and bitch about how there's no parties and then they clog up the toilets with expensive flyers, in our last friendly, reliable venue in Dallas. Fuck y'all, and C double said that, the home bar is one of our fucking shrines in this world of conflict and destruction, and you can't even have the sense to throw your flyer in one of the 15 trash cans, or even better, hand the literature to someone else who might actually want to keep it. But whats the point because the idiots who did it probably cant even turn on a computer, much less sign on to Dallasraves.org

Yep, the Roland comes from gear he owns. It would be like me naming myself Jonny and Korg, except that he puts out records a lot and I only do it rarely. Oh yea, and his records sound good.

It was a pretty badass show for sure. I agree with reazon1 about the flyers, they wouldn't even let me promote for a party that's at the Homebar next Friday. What was up with that Nazi security guard? Yab Yum knows who I'm talking about. Anyway, other then that the show went off major.

For some odd reason, I wasn't digging his set too much. Maybe it was the mood I was in or because I was still wore out from Andy C, but I thought his mixing wasn't all that great but the track selection was his stronger part. Personally, I got into Jediphonix's set more then Dom's, but Im glad I went last night.

I had a splendid time. It took a lil getting used to those horrid house lights, and once they were turned off the adjustment and the beer swigging took a sec.
Massive props to the free beer ! That helped like kimo for a cancer patient - fer reals.

Sorry in advance for only having three teaser cds. The full one with cover and everything will be done next week. I wonder who got the three teasers, I recorded it literally an hour before I came and played. I mean the set and dubbing the discs. It was as if time was cut in half yesterday.

I want to give a massive THANK YOU to all you hornthrowing yelling and hollering drum n bassheads - It's your desire to hear the wicked sounds that make it possible for so many headliners to smack you in a week , and so many good locals for support.



I really liked the first tune Dom played, it starts out all pretty and wussy then BAM straight fucking ugly !

I had a bad ass time! I haven't been to a drum and bass show in a while and I had a lot of fun. Dom was dope!

Mad respect to jess and eric for this one. I wish I could've gotten there earlier to catch more of Dom, but ya know. Dom played some evil ass shite! I was lovin it!

Had a blast closin out playing with gilbert and teh dappa emcee. Dom was definitley a tough act to follow. Props to titan and martin for throwin it down last night, and once again propz out to gremlin!

Dom was Fuking awesome! I rarely get into a DnB set that much! He was laying down some sick dark jungle and the sound was great!

DJ Chai played one of the best sets I have ever heard her play. I don't know what it was, maybe just getting out of the Sand Bar, but I really enjoyed the hell out of it.

Jeremy Lewallen and DJ TITAN finished up the night for me with some great DnB.

MC PIBB was DOPE! Brian really helped get me into the music all night! He keeps amazing me every time I hear him.

Finally The Disco Agents were playing some phat Diso, but I was mostly busy listening to Dom.

And Drew I hear you man, that security guard was a dickhead to you. I think it's awesome that they have a guy patroling the parking lots to keep our cars safe, but the Home Bar is really shooting themselves in the foot by keeping promoters from passing out flyers to events at the venue, especially when it's for events at the Home Bar!

I'm really looking forward to the next Gremlin Party. I've come to expect the best quality in events from these guys. They deliver over and over and over again. Much love guys!

Had a great time......Coronas too expensive ........Dom is quite delish and delivered a bangin' set (Could D&B be swallowing me whole???!!!?? Hahahaha)
