Tunnel last nite.....

i had prolly the best time playing last nite. and i would personally like to thank everyone that came out....wait, chrysti was the only one there. ok, anyways, thanks for coming out chrysti and sticking around ALL NITE even though you were the ONLY and i do mean ONLY person there. big up, chrysti aka ardcore junglistic chic. hope to see some of you people next week.

my personal opinion is that the promotion needs to be everywhere and not just on this board. I have personally handed out about 1000 or so fliers and counting for this particular party, that i'm not even playing.....DJ's that have weeklies need to promote themselves just as much as the people backing the party.
example: If a Dj works at a record store and sells dnb records to some kid it shouldnt matter if they know him or not, tell them to come check out the party that they're playing.....

You can't just slap DnB on a flier and expect people to show....


A weekly is a JOB and not just an "oh- i'm a dnb dj in Dallas with a weekly" privelege....

its easier said then done when you have to pay for flyers yourself mang. if i had more flyers i would be out in the streets doing my thing, but thats not the case. also in light of the change of the cover charge, new flyers are in the process of being designed, slowly but surely things will be picking up @ tunnel, providing people stop bitching about how no one goes out to support locals and its the same people that dont come out and support in the first place. my personal opinion, dont bitch at someone about not supporting the local scene unless your ready to support your damn self.......my 2cents.

i had fun last night. it was fun playing a whole bunch of tunes you arent supposed to because no-one is around to hear [the vault ] !!! thanks Christi for hangin out...and lets not forget about Turtle and his really cute asian friend sitting over in the corner. Big ups to the Hottie bartender for stickin around and somehow keeping herself busy all night. I BROKE MY DAMN CHILLUM!!! it was a long drive home...
